Ellie, dressed in a gown, prepared herself in front of the mirror with the help of the servants. Jean then asked, "Madam, are you also participating in the hunt?"
"No. I'm just attending the event."
In Ellie's memories, she could see that Eleanor was skilled in archery, swordsmanship, and horseback riding. However, she didn't want to engage in activities she never did just because her body had muscle memory of them.
Living in Eleanor's shadow was enough.
Ellie didn't want to do things Eleanor liked. She felt that doing so would further distance her from her true self.
