Felix pressed his lips together tightly. He ended the phone call and gloomily looked at Olaf Meiden. His boss would not like the news he received. And as much as he knew and understood his boss, he expected his reaction to be disproportionate to the action.
Olaf Meiden was ruthless in business, but when it came to his son, he was the real devil.
"Mr. Chairman, I just received information that Gustav had a minor accident..."
Meiden's green eyes lit up. Krauze felt a shiver run down his spine. He didn't want to be in the skin of the man who had caused the accident.
"Tell the story," Meiden said.
"He and David were on a horseback ride on the beach. It seems that someone scarred their horses. David is an inexperienced rider, so he couldn't control his own. In rescuing him, Gustav strained his hand, which has not yet fully healed."
