Soon three days passed by since the preliminaries of the Chunin exams finished. I spent these days as the guard of Hokage-sama not leaving him as a show of how serious I take my task, although I was just running my thoughts everywhere, standing beside him.

Throwing these thoughts away I rushed quickly towards both of them while Kabuto has already escaped from my 100 meters range and I didn't want to expand my range to keep a check on him, and concentration these two since they are about to fight as I have already reached there, standing on the next building watching their fight commence. I didn't act early because it would be good if Gekko got into a coma since the higher his injuries the higher the chance that everyone will believe my next story, f not for the fact he was my teammate and also someone who has helped me at the start I wouldn't have cared about his life and death and wouldn't have taken my time to come here and save him.

The battle was not as exciting as the fight between Gaara and Rock Lee because Hayate was crushed by Maki before he could even make any substantial damage to the enemy.
