He has his eyes closed as if he's having an internal battle between him and his wolf.

Should I run?

I need to zip my mouth at times.

"Should I call Ryan or Kyle? Did you bring your 'turn back to human' injections?" I ask, making "ation marks in the air.

He opens his eyes and they're black.

Right. Code black.

Dad? I try to mindlink him but it's blocked. I do the same to mom but all the mindlinks are blocked.

What is the point in having this ability?!

"She likes Kyle and Ryan." Jaxon growls under his breath talking to himself.

I try not to blurt out that I like Ryan more than I like Kyle.

"Hey,"I call out to get his attention, "Don't go all monster on me, okay?" I say and he frowns as he holds his head tightly, his eyes closed.

"I'm not a monster!" He shouts as he turns around and punches the wall.
