Veta - Warsaw Kingdom

After yesterday's night raid, the enemy seemed to have had many casualties. However, nothing can stop their 200.000 troops. That number is too large for us, too far from our reach to eliminate all or half in a night.

At last, the Spec Ops Head Hunters squad managed to collect some intel. Despite its little information, their dedication to yesterday's mission was well sacrificed. Mission accomplished.

The intel had been handed over to the Green Marine Corps to let 'em take care of the further things. I had launched other Spec Ops teams, heading their routes to other locations in the country. Well... for example: A Swift Predator unit had been deployed to Attenta's Capital city, purposing to assassinate their King and their Empress.

Reimi's now still missing, no track to find her. About the fate of the Spec Ops team I sent out to save her... it's hard to tell when I cannot see 'em.

They could've been dead in the deep of the jungle during the search. Otherwise, they could've been detained by the enemies, since they worked on the mission without support from other Armies.

Back to Reimi. It's good when there's something valuable. One of the maps the Spec Ops squad collected from the enemy camp had shown me something valuable.

The location she's assumed to be missing, very matched the location marked by the biggest dot. I mean, that map is about Tod forest, it has red dots of different sizes, all around the area of the woods.

Then... the biggest red dot could be the Attenta Headquarters or something similar to it. Yet, it's also the place Reimi is now detained alongside other missing WCA soldiers in the previous battle.

VIPs are prioritized. The Special Forces are doing their best to track down the location which is possibly their Headquarters. After Reimi's safe and returned to my hands, we'll surely live well together alongside our big family somewhere.

When Reimi returns, I'll arrange an escape from Warsaw Kingdom immediately. The escape will have my wife - Shera, Reimi, Sarah and Hatano... might also join that escape. Everyone else will be left behind for our safety. I'll use my troops to be the meat shields to hold the border gate, while my family and I will return to the castle.

Return there, pack up and head on the carriages to let them escort us to No Man Zone in no time. We'll head to Krieg Base, moving through the tunnel there to have entry to Zaira village of Jung Kingdom in order to escape.

About the fate of the Kingdom and its people... I hate what I'm going to do but I'll leave it doom on its own. This Kingdom's been doomed completely since the King couldn't gather the troops to head to us despite the days going by so far.  And now... the enemy is at home, front doors are about to be broken.

To think about the escape to Zaira village, I'm sure that my wife will surely protest harshly to my selfish opinion. Because her relatives: Hoster - His Majesty, Sherry, Lerer - her uncle, her classmates and others will be left behind.

However, I've had a way to deal with Shera's disagreement. My wife will escape with me and my subordinates by force, not through her voluntarily. Consequences... huh? To me, having my loved ones be with me is enough. My wife will surely forgive me and forget how cruel I was.

Despite Shera's hatefulness toward me from the beginning of the escape when I decide to leave all of her relatives behind. She'll forgive me, because she's my wife and she loves me, that's it.

Yeah... that's the only way to keep my family with me forever and happy. Reimi will react as same as my wife but as time goes on... family is happy under a roof, that's all.

"Ummm... John?". - My thought rightfully has no mistake, it's the perfect ending for my family and me!

"John, are you hungry...?".  "You tired?".  "May I stay here? I hope it'll make you feel better".  "Please answer me... John, are you okay?". - While deepening in my thoughts, I sensed that someone had just sat next to me, even holding my left hand

"John... come here".  "Kiss!". - All of sudden, I was startled when I realized someone was kissing me deeply

"Ahhhh... ummm...".  "Ahhhh... ummm...".  "Kiss... ahhh...".  "Ahem... umm, you feel better yet?". - Kissing me for a while and then stopped, Shera blushed while staring at me

"Shera, what you were d-".

"You looked empty earlier, John... was there something wrong with you?".  "I want to help, please tell me...". - She held my hand tighter than before, even got her face closer to me

"Yeah, I'm okay...".  "Maybe... just a little tired".

"You lacked sleep?".

"Not really". - Honestly, I... that's strange when I sometimes dream about wars, but sometimes I dream differently, very odd

"Ummm... you don't feel well in eating here?".

"I'm fine, Shera".

"But... sigh...".  "I understood, John".  "Well, this is yours". - Speaking to me for a while, my wife showed me a wooden plate of cookies in her hand

"Ehhh... what?".

"You haven't eaten much this morning, John".  "I was filling things and a soldier came here with plates".  "I brought one to you, see it yummy?". - She shortly handed the plate to my hand

"I'll surely eat it to the last".

"Hmmm... do it with me instead, John".  "Giggles". - Done joking with me, my wife got out of her seat, slowly returning to her duty

As I realize this time, I'm inside a supply building that is nearby the hospital and the ration buildings. Because of wasting a little bit of ammunition from yesterday's encounter with the enemy General, we came here to rearm.

I'm sitting on a green crate that is carrying bunches of muskets inside. I put the plate of cookies on the left side, trying to watch the scenery around here before doing anything else.

Hmmm... Hatano and Sarah can be seen sitting on another crate behind me. Hatano, as always, still emotionless and talks very little despite staying alongside her little sister.

Alright... Sarah seems to be talking with her older sister, but the way she is talking makes me think she's quite nervous to fight. Sarah's hesitation is shown quite frequently in yesterday's combat. She turned on the turrets when I ordered her but was very hesitated to kill the enemy by using her rifle.

Well... the most peaceful people should never hold a gun, they'll surely regret a lot after shooting, don't they?

Glancing at my subordinates not so long, I look away and neglect them. In front of me is my wife Shera, she can be seen filling bullets in my magazines, helping me a lot. Well... my wife takes the ammo to refill from the green ammo crate which is very near her. It's kind of good.

Instead of placing the ammo crate in the castle, I ordered the WCA soldiers to place it here for more convenience. Whenever our ammo runs out, we'll return here to refill them. By ordering soldiers to refill the magazines for our firearms.

Now only my wife alone, filling the ammo to our magazines while crouching on the floor. Since we needed privacy, I had ordered the soldiers not to be in here unless having my next orders.

It's quite miserable for Shera to fill those magazines for me, my dear wife should not be working this heavily. However, she's very hard-working... I should've cared about my wife more instead of neglecting her to battle.

As I can see this time, Shera had done filling the 7.62mm for Hatano's M21 sniper rifle magazines. Currently, she's filling the 5.56 mm for our M4 carbines, doing it quite swiftly.

It would be very happy if Reimi was here with us. Now she's still missing but my Special Forces will surely find her and escort her here soon.

Watching my wife fill the ammo, I start thinking about the reason I doubt her faithfulness to me. Hmmm... that problem is quite difficult to speak up to her... thus, I only keep it in my mind.

Recently, I dreamt about war things that I used to go through in the past. That problem follows me for a long time ago, and I see it's normal, I've coped with it already. Everything seemed fine until the day I dreamt of... my wife cheating on me. That's not normal, but even disgusts me.

To think about my wife, even before dreaming about those things, I used to doubt her many times. Even when we're living happily together, some parts of mine still doubt her, always having a distance from my wife's honesty.

Not just with my wife but also with others. Apparently, I can trust them, can talk with them, smiling and laughing as if I trust them. But deep inside me, rarely, but when I think, I'll draw out scenarios where they're backstabbing me, having dark purposes and seem to be using me.

Despite living happily with my wife, sometimes when I think too far, I think she's cheating on me. When this war is over, we'll live in Zaira village till the end of our lives. Or that's what I'm thinking about, it's surely possible to happen. I believe it can happen, surely it will.

However, now how can I know if my wife has another man in her mind or not?

What if she does have one? Hmmm... till this time, men soldiers are deployed all around from the castle to the border gate for the war.

What if those soldiers see my wife as attractive and think about stealing her from me?

Worse, if my wife sees too many strong men around her and she suddenly thirsts for them, and cheats on me when I'm working. Not good at all...

But the worse scenario is when we live in that village till the very end of our lives. Who knows if my wife gets attracted to those elves or not? They're young, energetic and powerful in their young bodies for hundred years. When I, was luckily born with good potential in physique and physical, will surely rot when I'm getting old... it'll be there soon.

To think about my wife cheating on me, bringing young men home when I'm at my workplace. That's unacceptable! No way I can allow her to do that! No way I will! I'll kill all of them!

I'll fucking kill all of them! Any man who dares to care about my wife will be killed! And she herself will have to be well-controlled under my observation, no exception!

Wait wait wait... that's about my wife, then what about Reimi? What if she betrays me too, in the future?

Wait... wait wait wait wait! Urrrrrgggghh! Fucking shit!

What if... the children Shera and I have in the future are not mine? What if she gets pregnant while cheating on me, and...

Having children with young men by cheating on me? Will my wife do that?

And how will I react to it when I know it? Raising the children who are not mine, but of my wife and young men she had the nights with?

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!!". - I  howled crazily while holding my head, getting up and walking around without having a clear direction

"Ahhhh!!!". - I accidentally fell when my waist accidentally hit the plate

"John?!".  "John!!! Are you alright?".  "What happened, Commander?!!". - While I was on the ground, my wife and my subordinates ran to me, later lifted me up

I got up after falling, seeing my wife and others checking for my wound. Luckily, I wasn't wounded, just fell. Seeing me have something wrong, my wife lifts me by herself, escorting me to the crate I used to sit on.

"Are you alright, John?".  "Not good, your mental must be very exhausted". - Suspecting me is not alright, my wife holds my hand tightly, sitting next to me

"I'll take care of the plate, Princess".  "Commander, don't make us scared anymore".  "What was wrong with you?!".  "Help me, sis". - Sarah and Hatano were picking up the fallen plate along with its broken cookies, she asked me during the process

"I'm fine".

"You're not fine, John! You're not!".  "Is there something wrong with you? Please tell me, let me help you...". - My wife asked me, her eyes kept staring at me and made me hard to explain

"Well... urrrghhh".  "Shera, I... it's hard to...".  "Gimme, just gimme more time to...". - Now what should I say to her?

"Shera, we h-".

All of sudden, when I was trying to explain to my wife, the room door suddenly opened. A WCA man soldier who seems to be a messenger ran inside, holding the right side of the door frame. His soldier, appears to be exhausted as if he had gone through a long run to here.

"What happened?!!!". - Sarah asked the soldier loudly

"Commander, enemy appearing outside!".  "They're about to seize the place!!!!".

"What the?!!!".  "Everyone, on me!".  "Prepare our gear!". - Hearing his alert, I got my wife's hand out, shortly I ran to the ammo crate to take my weapons

"Wait, John! Wait!". - When I was arming my weapons, my wife suddenly hugged me from behind

"I'm fine, Shera!".  "Stay in here, do not go outside!".  "Goddammit!!!". - I kept shaking my body, asking her to let off me

"I won't leave you!!!".

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!". - I resisted too harshly, resulting in my wife's fallen on the ground, she looks hurt

"I'm sorry, Shera... I'm sorry". - Apologizing to my wife, I grabbed my M4A1, later attached things to its body

"Princess!!!". - Sarah helped my wife up, later she ran to the ammo crate to meet me

"Clak! Clak! Clak! Clak!".  "Some mags haven't been filled full, how can we?". - She asked me while throwing to me the filled magazines, I put them in my pouches

"Leave them to someone!".  "I'm going to lead the way, you cover me from behind".  "Krieg team, on me!". - Done saying to Sarah, I swiftly turned around to take my Alrotz military backpack

"John, no!!!". - Sorry, my wife!

"Commander!". - Hatano said loudly, later she threw my Alrotz bag to me

"You head to the spot, snipe 'em down when I order you". - I wore my green Alrotz backpack while ordering Hatano to be the sniper

"Team, on me!".  "The fuck are you doing?! Get to your position, don just stand there!".  "Move, now!". - I targeted the messenger soldier who was still standing to rest at the door

The man shortly fled, going back to his unit to prepare for the fortress siege. I run out of the door with my subordinates staying behind me with their loaded rifles. After getting out, I look behind and realize Shera is the last who hasn't gone out of the room. My wife will be useful, I must ask her to help me with the ammunition things.

"Fill the ammo, Shera!".  "Slam!!!!!". - Done saying goodbye to my wife, I shut the door

"Let's move!". - I roared, later ran straight out of the supply building

Heading outside of the supply building, I run while looking at the top floor of the border gate, the walls. Hundreds of WCA soldiers and WS gunners can be seen standing on the walls, pointing out their muskets and bows to aim. Farther, the watchtowers are having soldiers with crossbows, aiming below to kill the enemy.

From below, thousands of WCA spearmen and cavalrymen are gathering at the staircases and the entrance of the border gate. They can be seen using tables and chairs, even their armored bodies to hold the colossal gate door. Every one of them is very serious.

"Out of the way! Out of the way!".  "Move move move!!!". - I yelled, ordering the soldiers to move away while my subordinates and I were going on the staircase

"Away away away away!!!". - The soldiers who were in the staircase even got away to let us pass them

In a short time, we managed to get to the top of the border gate fastly. Running to the area we used to stand yesterday, Sarah and I got to our positions. Even though, we had to stay a bit farther from the walls for safety, because we can be targeted at any moment, even this time.

"Hatano, on the ground!". - Hatano heard my order, she immediately lay on the floor, pointing her silenced M21 out of a wall side's gap

"Sarah, place the turrets on these sides, quickly". - I dropped my Alrotz military backpack on the floor, while asking Sarah to take the turrets out and place 'em in a good position to slay the enemies

"John!!! John!!!".  "Magazines, they're filled!".  "John!". - When I was pulling out my binoculars, Shera could be seen running toward me

She shortly reaches my position, some filled magazines carried in her hands, suddenly falling apart. Seeing the situation, my wife crouches down to retake the magazines. Meanwhile, I look around the walls and the watchtowers to make sure every side will have a Commander to lead the units, because I'm too far from 'em.

Observing the walls and the watchtowers around me in a short time, I see it's fine when every side has a Commander. However, I always remember to keep my eyes on the watchtower which has the adventures guarding on it. Fortunately, that side also has our troops guarding tightly.

"John, here". - My wife gave me the filled magazines

I only nodded to her, shortly put them on my pouches. Sarah can be seen placing the Alrotz turret guns, she's checking on them carefully before turning them on to slay things.

About me, I drag my fully charged Advisor out of my Alrotz backpack. I strap him to my right wrist, shortly push his power button to turn on. Alright... I pull out my binoculars afterward.

"Shera... stay right behind me".  "Alright?".

"Nod!".  "Uhhh... where is?". - Shera found out she didn't have any weapon, she looked around and then pointed her eyes at my M1911 pistol

"May I?". - Shera grabbed it out of my holster, later asked me if she could have the right to use it

"You know how to operate it properly?".

"Uhhhh...". - Alright, so she doesn't how to operate it properly

"You know how to reload and how to shoot, right?". - I turned around and grabbed the pistol

"I saw you practice it several times so I...".  "I can do it".

"Al-".

"The cowards from up there! You're making mistakes!".  "Do not against our ultimatum or all of you will be punished!". - When I turning on and off the gun's safety pin and checking its actuator, someone could be heard yelling below

"Who is yelling?!!!".

"The weebs from below, Commander". - Hatano said to me while aiming at him by using her M21 sniper rifle

"You see my hands practicing with it, right?".  "Got it yet?". - I taught Shera to turn on and off the gun's safety pin, also taught her to check on the magazine many times

"Nod! Nod!". - Done nodding to me, my wife retook the pistol and loaded the magazine on it, later pulled back the actuator to load it

"Here, take more". - I opened my pistol's pouches and gave my wife more magazines

"Cowards!!! Hear me?!!!". - Shut up!

When I've done giving my wife the gun's magazines, I grab my binoculars. Just like that, I point my binoculars forward, slowly looking through their scopes.

According to my vision while on the scope, the Attenta troops can be seen forming their formations all around the area. From the spearmen, archers to the cavalrymen, they all seem to be well-trained and we'll be equipped with metal equipment.

Looking further, I can see 5 colossal-looking wooden objects. They're the standing wooden rectangle things, which look like the big ladders which use to siege the wall of the border gate. Moreover, their top side seems to be the floor which can carry archers. Their feet side have many huge spiky, wooden pointy tips... as if to use to slam on the entrance.

Five of those wooden things can be seen standing behind the troops. All of them are away from each other horizontally, about dozens of meters and seem to be the most dangerous siege engine. I'd temporarily call those things the siege machines... one of those prepared siege machines seemed to have been burned nearly entirely.

Looking further at things around the siege machines, I spotted dozens of more wooden siege engines. As I can realize, those things are the ballistas, the catapults... etc, cannot remember all.

I came from a modern world, my military never trained me about these things. These are ancient weapons, I only know about their destruction through the internet, the movies, animes and others.

I must stay calm... I must stay calm... should not be scared.

"Krieg 2, have visual on target?". - I told Hatano to mark her rifle to the man

"Ready to engage". - Good

"Fire on my mark". - After speaking to her, I approached the wall of the border gate till I got to the farthest side

Reaching the destination, I look down to watch the one who seems to be challenging me previously. No surprise at all, this man is a General. As he spots my appearance, he draws out his sword and points it at me, yelling around while on his horseback.

"Hahaha! Finally! Finally!".  "You fucking coward! Now you dared to show your face!".  "This will be your last day in this castle... your home, your women, everything of yours, will be mine and my pals!".  "Now surrender!". - Talking to these attitude people only makes me madder... but I'll try to hook up more time for my troops to prepare

"What do you want?".

This time, the circle line around the border gate's bound has been dug to be trench lines of metal pikes. Using this way, I hope the enemy will have to be very struggling if they dare to siege this fortress. "Goddess... bless us", what a bullshit quote.

Somehow, this one is lucky when he is just away from the trench lines a few meters. Thinking about our enemy Generals... stupid. They died yesterday that many but now are still sending one more man here, just to die.

"Are you fucking deaf!".  "Speak louder, hahahaha!". - Maybe I spoke too small, or he was pretending to not care about my words

"Hatano... remember to shoot his balls... this guy cannot die that easily".  "On my mark".

"Roger". - Hearing Hatano, I returned to look around once again to make sure my troops are all well-prepared before heading back to speak to him

"Are you fucking looking down on me, huh?!!!".  "You dare! This is your last warning! Surrender and be captured all of you!".  "Or die, choose it!!!".

"Good people hardly swear while talking".  "Look back on yourself, you old fuck...".

"Answer me pr-".

"Shoot him".

"Bang...!!!!!".

"Ahhhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhh!". - After getting shot, the man fell from horseback, yelling around while holding his crotch, with blood spurting out all around

"Get ready, soldiers!".  "Clak!". - I returned to tell everyone to get ready, while I pulled back my rifle's actuator to check on the ammo

"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".  "Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - When I was talking on the wall, from below the border gate, the enemy could be heard yelling

They've launched the siege.

"Hatano! Targets their Generals, forget the soldiers!".  "They may send mages in this battle, shoot 'em too!".

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!". - The Alrotz turrets started firing around like the M134, they're shredding the troops who are running straight to the border gate

"Do not let anyone of 'em hook up on the wall! Do not let 'em breach the gate!!!". - In case the gate is breached, I'll flee with my wife and my subordinates back to my castle to defend

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!". - Suddenly, many yellings could be heard from outside

I glance a little bit outside. Turned out, the enemies who ran and hit on the camouflaged cloths which were placed on the ground to hide the pikes, had been felled and stabbed to death. A huge panic is spreading among their troops, some can be seen running away and hitting the other hidden pikes on other sides of the boundary.

"Bang...!".  "Bang...!". - Hatano suddenly shot her silenced M21 sniper rifle, as if she was shooting the Generals

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Second line, move up!". - The musket units have also joined the battle, their first line gunners are retreating to let the second line have the chance to shoot the hostiles

"What are you doing, Sarah?!". - I yelled at Sarah because she was sneaking under the wall alongside her M4, as if she didn't want to fight

"I've switched on the user mode for the turrets".  "But haven't found anyone to man it, Commander!".

"John, get down!!!!!!". - All of sudden, Shera hugged me and pulled me onto the floor

"Rain arrow!!!!". - Sarah also yelled while rolling, later she lay nearby the wall

"Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup! Bup!". - All of sudden, hundreds of arrows could be seen touching the wall, even falling on the residential houses

"Ahhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhhhhh!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Many yellings sounding around us, the soldiers who were protecting the wall had been hit, some were dying

"Urrrrrgggghh!".  "On the ladders!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - After a long time of hesitation, Sarah finally got her head up and shot the enemies

"Bang...!".  "Bang...!". - From the previous incident till this time, Hatano was still shooting as if she didn't care

"Shera, stay behind me...". - My wife was still crushing and hugging me without letting me off, so I had no choice but to get her off me

"No, John! No!".  "Come back!". - Seeing one turret has been turned on the "user mode", I ran to its position while my wife was yelling, stopping me

I reach the turret gun after a short time of running. Grabbing its handle, I swiftly get used to its trigger and other parts of the turret. After getting used to its features, I rotate the gun to the site I think has large numbers of hostiles. They're many.

"Assist me, Advisor!".

"Yes, Sir!".  "Right side, right side!".  "Shoot the ladders!".

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - I roared while shooting the running hostiles from below. This gun's recoil wasn't harming me at all, my ears have already ringed previously

As I can see, most of the hidden pikes around the border gate had been exposed and killed many enemies. Cannot get through the line to pass their siege engines to get closer to the fortress, their troops start using tall ladders.

They place those tall ladders on the gap sides of the trench lines, later ordering their men to run past. Some fall in the process, some manage to get through but shortly die because of being shot.

"Gunshots!!!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!!". - I'm tearing up the enemies' bodies by shooting at them, also shredding the tall ladders as well

"Hostiles on the siege machines, General!".  "Left side, the closest one!". - Hearing Advisor's warning, I rotated my turret in the direction he was telling me to shoot at

"Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!!! Gunshots!!!!!". - The archers who were shooting at me from the top side of a siege machine, had been eliminated. The machine itself had been shattered on its top

"Enemy siege vehicles on the right side!".  "Ten of 'em!". - Hearing his alert, I rotated my turret in that direction

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!!".  "Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!! Gunshots!!!!!". - I made fast firing at those pike vehicles, managed to eliminate 4 after grazing 'em

However, I failed to shoot the rest of them. Because the remaining pike vehicles had passed the perimeter, I meant they went too deep to the border gate, out of my sight. However, I keep shooting at them by using the turret. Sarah can be barely seen reloading while Hatano is running to another position to have a better spot.

"John! John! John!". - All of sudden, I spotted hundreds of dark things flying toward me. Before I could react, my wife pulled me onto the floor and crushed on me

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - More yelling from the soldiers who were protecting the wall, seemed like they had been shot by the 2nd wave of rain arrows

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "One siege thing incoming, Commander!".  "Uhhh... we need something to burn!". - Sarah panicked, she sneaked into the wall, pulling out her Alrotz military backpack, hoping to find something

"Bang...! Bang...!".  "Use the grenades, Sarah!". - Hatano suggested, asking Sarah to use the grenades

While getting up after falling on the floor, Shera can be seen wiping my face. Seeing the warfare that close is too dangerous, both of us move back, cowering in the wall, staying there for our safety. WCA and WS gunner units seem to have been wounded and died too many. WCA soldiers who carry crossbows and some Green Marine units are taking their place to defend the wall against the intense siege, holy fuck!

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - Sarah could be seen crawling toward the neglected turret I used to use, she intended to turn on its "automatic mode"

"Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Second line, m-".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". - Some leaders of the musket units had been shot

"Medic! We need medics!!!".  "Drag 'em to the hospital, now!".  "Move move move!!!". - The medic soldier were carrying the wounded downstairs to head to the ground, some were doing treatments right in the danger zone

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!". - More men dying, even the medic soldiers when another wave of rain arrows came

I accidentally look up at the sky, spotting the eaglemen flying in the sky. They're holding huge stones and logs on their spiky feet, readying to lower down to bomb the enemies and go to rearm. Commander Dollory is commanding her team, it seems to be going well.

"Booooooommmmmmmm!!!". - All of sudden, a huge explosion exploded in the sky. It hit the eaglemen and some men could be seen falling from the sky

"A mage heading to the gate!".  "I'm tracking him down!". - Hatano yelled

"Behind me, Shera! Behind me!".  "Stay behind me!". - I got my wife out of my body, later asked her to stay behind me for safety

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Clak! Clak! Clak! Clak!".  "Mine is jammed, Commander!".  "Enemy siege tower incoming!!!!". - Sarah's rifle jammed, she shortly headed up with her M203 Grenade launcher readied

"Spurt!!!".  "Boom!!!!".  "Urrrrrgggghh!".  "Boom!!!".  "Their ladder has been destroyed!". - She shot the grenade launcher, later threw a grenade at a siege machine, making its huge ladder collapsed

"Target neutralized!". - Hearing Hatano's NEWS, somehow I was relieved since the enemy mage has died

"Burn the siege machines!!! Burn the siege machines!!!". - The Spec Ops Head Hunters unit which was staying in the town when this incident happened, was helping us

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!'. - Magic fireballs spurted out from their palm, now burning two other siege machines which were coming toward the wall

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!".  "Take cover!!!!". - Another wave of rain arrows, soldiers and Marines were lying on the floor, covering their heads by using their metal shields

While choosing my momentum to rejoin the battle, I see my wife shaking because of scared. So do I, everyone is scared, I'm scared too, but at least better than her since I used to pass things like this, it's painful.

"Clak!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Behind me, Shera!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Switching my M4A1 to semi-automatic mode, I pointed it out of the wall and started shooting at the hostiles I can see

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "What the fuck?".  "Shit!". - While shooting, I spotted a hook strapped to the wall side I was crouching on

I take a little peek at the things below me. The hostiles can be seen climbing up the fortress by using the ropes with hooks strapped on the wall, impossible! No way!

"John, watch out!!!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Shera pulled me away, later pointed her M1911 pistol at the climbing enemies, shooting 'em

I look around and realize that on many wall sides, strapped ropes can be spotted. However, the soldiers and Marines were all busy shooting at the hostiles from below, mostly all of 'em haven't noticed the ropes. Looking further, I spot some tall ladders have been stuck tightly to the wall. The hostiles are now climbing up the ladders to head here!!!

"Everyone!!!! Watch the ladders and the ropes!!!!". - I pulled out my M9 bayonet

"Get out, Shera!". - I pushed my wife away when she was rushing to reload the pistol

"Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!". - I used my M9 bayonet to cut the rope line, managed to kill those incoming hostiles

"Cut the rope! Cut the rope!". - I yelled around, while running to other sides of the wall to aid the WCA troops

"Ahhhh!".  "Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Clack! Clack! Clack!".  "Shit!". - I stopped by a tall ladder, later aimed at the below hostiles, shooting 'em till my rifle ran out of ammo

I managed to stay calm. I put the used magazine on my pouches and take out a new one to load my M4A1. After reloading, I run to the left side of the wall and found Sarah.

"What are you doing?!!!". - I asked Sarah because she was doing something with the turrets, they stopped working?!!!

"They're overheated, need to rest, Commander!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "Sis, located him yet?!". - Beside Sarah is Hatano

"Hold...".  "Bang...!".  "Target eliminated...".

I neglect my subordinates and run to another side of the wall, on the left side. Soldiers can be seen cutting down the strapped ropes, but they're also struggling to fight back. Especially women, because this woman soldier unit is struggling when the enemies are stronger than 'em. Some had managed to get on the walls, and they were struggling to kill my own troops.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - I shot 3 hostiles who were fighting my own soldiers

"Thanks, Sir!".  "Tinov, cut the ropes, c'mon!".  "Urrrggggh!". - My own soldiers are still struggling, some are using long spears to poke the climbing hostiles

"Lemme!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - Clearing the climbing hostiles, I pulled out my short sword

"Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!".  "Return firing, soldiers!". - After chopping down the ropes, I ordered the women soldiers to protect the wall side. While I ran back to my subordinates' position

"Incoming!!!".  "Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt!". - Someone yelled when a burning siege machine charged at the wall, Marines were still shooting fireballs at it without stopping

"Slam!!!!!!!".  "Fuck!". - Some fell when the impact came, the huge siege ladder had reached the wall side

"Burn 'em out!".  "Gunshots! Gunshots! Gunshots!".  "Clack! Clack!".  "Reloading!!!!!". - I ran out of ammo while shooting, I reloaded the rifle

"Fix bayonets!!!". - The WCA and WS gunners are now attaching the bayonets to their muskets

"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!". - Burning hostiles can be seen running on the siege ladder, despite they are yelling in pain and are dying

"Urrrrrgggghh!!!". - Sarah and other soldiers can be seen running their bayonets to the enemies' chests, her face looked exhausted

"Bang! Bang! Bang!".  "John!". - I was about to engage an armored hostile, but Shera came out from nowhere and shot him

"Arrrrghhh!".  "Boom!!!!". - Sarah threw her grenades at the burning siege machine, successfully collapsed it

"Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!! Gunshots!!!!!".  "They worked! They worked!". - Sarah screamed in happiness when the turrets finally returned shooting

"Another mage running below, I'm tracking him down!".  "Aid me, Sarah!". - Hatano asked Sarah to come to her position

"Wait, what is that?!!!". - My wife while watching my back, yelled in panic for no reason

"What's wrong?!!!".

"They're running away, John!".  "Tower 6, look!!!". - She pointed her finger to a watchtower... wait a minute

"Tower 6 has been breached!".  "Target the adventurers now! They're the hostiles!".  "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!". - I informed the bad news to the troops, focused on shooting at the running hostiles in that watchtower

That must be the hired adventurers who did. Nothing can be wrong, I was too careless so I failed to stop 'em!

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!".  "John, grenade!". - Sarah suddenly yelled in pain, I looked back and noticed her right shoulder had hit an arrow

Wait a minute... below Sarah is a grenade whose pin has been removed. Wait wait wait, what the fuck!!!

"Kane!". - Hatano yelled loudly, later Kane came out behind her and rushed to the M67 grenade

"John!!!". - Shera dropped the M1911 and hugged me, trying to pull me away

"Booooooommmmmmmm!". - As Kane covered the grenade, it exploded

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - My wife and I fell on the floor after the grenade's explosion

"Protect our Lord, Marines!".  "Rison, take the VIPs down the hospital building!". - We were later surrounded by the Green Marines, they immediately dragged us out of the warzone, to the building below to avoid combat
