CHAPTER 19… SISTER COMPLEX
Selena closed from work and Drew bought them to Megan's place. She did not spend much time. She simply collected a parcel from Megan and returned to the car.
She had initially planned to see the lawyer with Timothy since she had finally told him everything but she could not do so again.
Selena was worried about Timothy so much that she had found it very hard to concentrate on her work today. He was the only thing that her mind could think off.
How was he? Was he still sleeping or had he woken up? Has he eaten? Is he better now?...
Too much questions and the only way to respond to them was by seeing him for herself. Only then would she feel better and be able to concentrate on other things.
When Drew entered into the compound, Selena quickly got out of the car with Bella and went inside the house. They went into the bedroom where Timothy was still sleeping soundly.
Selena sighed and sat down at his head side. She breathed in relief when she felt his temperature and it was no longer burning up.
"Is daddy sick?" Asked little Bella, coming to stand by Selena. She looked at the man curiosly.
Selena pulled her close to her and nodded. She said, "Yes, baby. But, he is fine now." She kissed Bella's forehead and smiled at her.
"You should go up to your room, take a shower and change. When you come down, I'll she you a bowl of cereal," Selena said sweetly. She smiled and asked, "Would you like that?"
Bella nodded and left immediately. Once she had left, Selena tapped lightly ok Timothy's arm and he turned. He grunted softly but did not open his eyes.
Selena chuckled and stood up. She changed her clothes after showering before going downstairs where she made Bella a bowl of cereal before returning to the bedroom again.

"Ma'am," Mrs. Johnson called as soon as Selena came downstairs for dinner. She was wringing her fingers together and Selena could tell she was nervous.
"What happened, Mrs. Johnson?" Selena asked.
"We have a guest," Mrs. Johnson announced sadly. More like scared, Selena thought. "An uninvited one."
An uninvited guest?
Who could it be? It could not possibly be Rick, right?
She had already informed Mrs. Johnson of his coming so, he could not be the one.
Selena continued to walk towards the living took to check who it was but Mrs. Johnson would not let her. This made Selena suspicious and she raised a brown in question.
"Has my brother arrived already?" Selena asked but Mrs. Johnson shook her head. Selena frowned and said, "Then, who is it?"
"Raina," Mrs. Johnson said and kept wringing her fingers.
"Raina?" Selena echoed and Mrs. Johnson nodded. Selena asked, "Who is Raina?"
Mrs. Johnson swallowed and looked up at Selena's face. She took a deep breath and replied.
"The boss's ex-wife,"
"Oh!"
Selena did not seem suprise about her husband's ex-wife's presence in the house. She was more concerned about why Mrs. Johnson was scared. So, she asked and said, "Why do you sound like it is a bad thing?"
"Ma'am, it is a bad thing." Mrs. Johnson responded, no more trying to hide the obvious. She reached for Selena's hands and held them. "You should not go out there. She is a very crazy woman who is full of jealousy. If jealousy were a person, it would be Raina."
Selena chuckled at Mrs. Johnson words and then smiled reassuringly at the woman. She said to her, "Do not worry Mrs. Johnson, Timothy and Bella would be down in a minute. I'll just go and have a word with her quickly."
Mrs. Johnson did not look to convinced but she did not argue with Selena. She nodded solemnly and held Selena's gaze.
"Be careful," she warned sternly. Her face shewed all the shades of worry for Selena. "That woman in there is lunatic. Who knows if she may be carrying a knife in her bag. I do not even know the idiot who let her into this house. God help them when I lay my hands on them."
Selena nodded and promised to be careful. Only then did Mrs. Johnson let go off her hand but, she insisted on following Selena. She did not trust the witch.
"Hello!" Selena greeted with a warm smile when she reached the living room. She stood a safe distance from the guest and Mrs. Johnson stood behind her.
Raina looked up and was suprised to find a woman before her. The first thought that ran into her head was when Timothy told her that he was married. She had not believed him but a woman was now standing before her. She knew all of Timothy's family so, definitely, this one before her was not one of his relatives.
"Where is Timothy?" Raina asked, starting to get irritated by Selena's presence. She crossed her legs and leaned on the couch.
"Timothy is never going to see you." Mrs. Johnson said from behind Selena.
Raina did not look angry at all. She smiled sinisterly and cast a glance at the old housekeeper.
"Have you forgotten so quickly, what I can do?" Raina asked.
Mrs. Johnson shivered and took an involuntary step back.
Meanwhile, Selena stood where she was and sized the woman on the couch up. She looked about her age. Lips painted sinfully red and a white dress, the woman let her hair pour over her shoulders, making her look beautiful. But, Selena had a feeling that underneath her innocent appearance, their was a venomous snake hidding. To be honest, she did not like the woman one bit.
"Miss Raina-" Selena began but was interrupted by the door opening and closing. She looked up and smiled when she saw Rick.
"Hey, sis!" Rick called and came to stand besides her. He pulled her in for a side hug while waving to the housekeeper. "I thought I was late. I stopped by to get Bella a little something." He said and raised a package in his hand.
Selena smiled and nodded. She turned to face Raina and her expression changed.
"Miss Raina, I appreciate your time to visit but just like Mrs. Johnson said, Timothy would not be able to see you now." She said.
"Why is that? Who are you to tell me when I can see him?" Raina asked, standing up to face Selena. "Do you know who I am?"
"You are not allowed here, Raina! Leave now!"
Selena turned to see Timothy and Bella descending from the stairs. She walked and met them halfway across the room and wrapped her hand around Timothy's waist.
Timothy draped his arm over her shoulder and kissed her hair. This riled up Raina as he saw a glint of anger flash through her eyes and he smiled.
"Mrs. Johnson, take Bella away, please," Timothy said and Mrs. Johnson quickly whsked Bella out of the room. She was no longer worried about Selena since Timothy had arrived.
Rick who was confused stood by the side and watched in silence. He knew one thing was for sure, the beautiful woman I'm white was an unwanted guest.
Timothy stood before Raina, his arm was still around Selena's shoulder. His face countered into a frown as he asked, "What are you doing in my house? Did I not warn you not to ever step foot in my house?"
Raina took a step forward and tried to touch Timothy but Selena came and stood before him. She looked into Raina's face and shook her head.
"I don't think you heard what my 'husband' said, Miss Raina." Selena said and took a step forward. She was already irritated by Raina's presence and wanted her to leave quickly. She would ask Timothy why there was fear in Bella's eyes later. For now, she wanted this woman out of her house.
"He asked you to leave, politely."
"You do not have the right to talk to me, you piece of crap!" Raina retorted angrily. "I wonder where Timothy picked you from. I pity you. Timothy does not love you, he can only love me! I bet he's never even touched you!"
Rick took a step forward and stood beside Selena. He pointed a finger at Raina and turned to Selena.
"Do you want me to beat her up for you?"
Selena chuckled and shook her head. In the past, when someone would bully her in school, Rick would always come to her rescue. He would beat the culprits to a pulp and then take her home. She had always loved to see him in action but, not today. They had grown up now and also, Raina was a woman. It was very wrong to hit a woman.
"No, Rick," Selena said and looked a Raina. "Miss Raina here would see herself out. Right?"
Raina glared at Selena and Rick. If looks could kill, Rick and Selena would have been dead already. She was even pissed when Timothy did not say a word in her favor. Instead, he listened as she was humiliated.
