Becoming Makima in the Multiverse

An Otaku awakens in an unknown world with no recollection of her past other than her immense knowledge of Anime and Comics. And her circumstances didn't even end with that note. She found herself in the body of the infamous and feared Control/Conquest Devil Makima.  As the instinct of conquest slowly ingrained itself into the essence of her mind, will she transform into the old Makima of Chainsaw Man, or will she become Makima 2.0? Watch as she set foot in unique worlds she could only watch from a monitor and perhaps conquer the characters within it, making them a part of her collectio- Ehem... Precious subordinates. ――― This book is my first fanfiction on this site, so the quality might not be up to the general standard.  With my inadequate knowledge of the spoken stories, they will naturally be considered their own AUs.  [ Disclaimer : Original Copyrights belong to their Respective Owners. ]

Tokyo War Arc Episode 5: The Execution Contract

On the rooftop of the Tower, Tengen stepped out from the metallic confines of the Elevator. He bowed before Makima and calmly reported the results of her command.

"Lady Makima, the prisoners you have ordered from Tartarus have been delivered."

Hearing the words of her dog, the edges of Makima's lips rose. It seemed that Tartarus didn't hesitate in her acquisition of prisoners.

Otherwise, though, if they had stopped her. She would have desired to dismantle or take over them after she dealt with the Hero Public Safety Commission.

Standing beside Makima, Lady Nagant raised an eyebrow upon overhearing Tengen's report.

She wondered what the uses of prisoners were in their situation.

The others were also curious, though Thirteen and Ochako were mainly shocked when they met the chaotic scenery of the capital city.

While the two tried their hardest to appear unaffected by the devastation caused by the Symbol of Evil and his henchmen, almost everyone could discern their anxiousness.

On the other hand, Konrad didn't appear to care about the destruction surrounding the Tower. He grasped a small container and took a sip of vodka from it.

"What is the use of prisoners, Lady Makima?"

Lady Nagant quietly questioned, curious about the plan her Master had in mind. Her Master was always someone who set her sights on the future.

Every step she took wasn't without a reason.

When Makima heard the curious words of her puppy. She glanced at her puppy with her golden and hypnotic eyes. The Devil still maintained a sly smile on her face.

"You will know of their use later, Lady Nagant."

"But for now... I want all of you to wear blindfolds and pretend you don't hear or see whatever is happening in front of you."

Makima ordered, which made the others even more curious. Even the anxious Thirteen and Ochako set their thoughts towards her words.

"If that is your wish, it will be our command."

Lady Nagant replied while Tengen started handing out black blindfolds for everyone on the roof to cover their sights and ears.

One after another, Makima's puppies properly covered themselves with their blindfolds. Despite their flooding curiosity, they valued the orders of their Master more, so they weren't too meddlesome about the ordeal.

Tengen didn't blindfold himself since he was ordered for everyone to be blindfolded before he could do so himself.

As he calmly waited in the background, the one he was waiting for had finally entered. Out of nowhere, a purplish mist shrouded the central platform.

Kurogiri stepped out of the purplish mist of the warp with several blindfolded prisoners dressed ceremonially. The prisoners lined horizontally and made them kneel before the Lady of the Conglomerate.

After doing his job, he walked towards Tengen and blindfolded himself.

Seeing that everyone, including the prisoners, was blindfolded. Tengen covered his eyes with a black blindfold. With that, the preparations were complete.

"Shall I start?"

Makima closed her eyelids and thought about the technique she was about to use. Technically, this wouldn't be the first time she had used such a technique.

After all, this technique was the one that brought Tokyo into an eerie silence for a few days.

But, it was her first time creating a contract that employed the technique. And why a contract? Well, she was replicating what the former Makima had done with oppression.

'It shouldn't be too complicated, and the reason why the former Makima applied oppression in such a complicated way was to maintain her identity as a Devil a secret.'

'My replication of it is merely to expand my understanding of contracts.'

Makima quietly thought to herself before creating a contract inside her mind. When the contract creation concluded, she felt a part of herself being consumed by the contract.

The contract was somewhat simple.

Execute those with their names spoken by the contractee with the price of their entirety, their lives.

One would think that such a contract was dangerous for Makima. Especially when the contractee could say the names of her puppies or even her own name.

But such a suggestion would be purely idiotic since contracts don't work in such a way. While the contractor must do what they offer in the contract, they could also deny the use of their services.

Of course, if they reject the use of their services, they would also not receive what the contractee has offered for the contract. This would make the contract void.

Contracts with Devils were straightforward, though contractees must be detailed about what they want since interpretations might cause problems.

That's why when selling your soul, you mustn't simply say I want my loved one alive, or I want to be immortal. After all, Devils are nasty beings that would mess with their contractees for the sake of it.

And they wouldn't even be breaking the contract.

They can make your loved one alive, but make them a monster for the sake of being assh*les. Technically, the loved one would be alive, so what does being a monster do against the contract?

Anyhow, Devil Contracts depend on whether the services and offers were given.

Not giving any services wouldn't make the contractors punished. If they haven't accepted the offers of contractees.

But for the sake of being cautious and prudent, Makima had the prisoners completely under her control during the contract activation process.

Makima's golden eyes hypnotically glowed as she lay her pale hands together. She gazed through the devastated cityscape as though she were peering through the layers of concrete surrounding her.

....

Tokyo Hero Public Safety Commission Headquarters.

The Executives of the Commission were cornered by the Symbol of Evil and had no choice but to negotiate with him. Madam President observed the Symbol of Evil and questioned.

"Why have you invaded the Commission and brought chaos to the capital?"

All for One didn't answer, but the Nomu beside him walked up to an Executive and crushed his head. Blood splattered everywhere as the headless body fell forward to the table.

"In this situation, you civil servants have no say. You can only listen to me like the cockroaches you are."

"Nevertheless, I'm here for one reason. You have my direct disciple in your custody, and you even dared to cripple him along with my servant."

"You'll have to pay the price for destroying a part of my plans."

After All for One finished explaining, the Nomu crushed another Executive's head. The remaining Executives felt a jolt in their bodies as death crept into their hearts.

"W-We aren't the ones that crippled your disciple. We even aren't the people that captured him."

An Executive frantically said, making All for One raise an eyebrow. What the little one said made sense.

Especially when the Commission had no one who could handle a Nomu.

"And who was it that dared to cripple my disciple?"

All for One questioned while the Nomus began surrounding the Executive, pressuring him to submit and tell the truth.

The Executive didn't want to die and was about to tell All for One the information he needed to know.

But before he could do so. He felt a heavy weight in his heart. He didn't know where the weight came from, but it felt muddy.

It was then that the Executive began muttering in fear.

"I-I apologize! I didn't mean to say it. I only want to live!"

"P-Ple-Please don't kill-"

*Splat!*

The begging Executive was crushed into oblivion, leaving nothing but splattered crimson blood and undamaged clothes.

Silence conquered the meeting room of the Commission.

I feel bad for the Commission... Kekekeke
