Divide and conquer

After the second match began, everyone started to move.

Observing from the top of a tree, Alex, along with the elders, could see every movement of both tribes.

Climbing up to the treetop, Scar apologized for the delay, "Sorry for being late, I had some issues to resolve," Scar spoke.

Looking at the teams, Scar turned to Anibal. "It seems you chose a good spot," Scar said to Anibal.

"I'm glad to meet your expectations, boss," said Anibal with reverence.

"Hey Alex, the spot my strategist chose is great for us, I think you should start warming up for our turn," Scar said to Alex.

"Don't be so sure, this place is very similar to the forest we came from, it may not be the same, but we can still manage here," Alex replied.

Smiling, "Of course, of course you can, but we still have a big advantage," Scar said.

"We'll see for how long," said Alex.

Meanwhile, those listening could almost see a red beam coming from Scar's eyes and a blue one from Alex's, the two beams clashed in a standoff.

Quiteria and Jack were chosen as the leaders of the attack, while Qin was left alone to defend the flag.

On the other hand, Alex's team decided to take a more passive approach.

Since they were unfamiliar with the area compared to the enemy team, the strategy was to divide and conquer.

With fewer people than the other team, it was harder to focus on defense, but this ceased to be a problem when traps were used.

Alex's team divided into two groups: one would defend the flag and set traps, while the other would capture the enemy flag.

Staying behind, Jason, Milie, and Dilan were responsible for defending the flag.

Max, Luke, and Helio were tasked with capturing the flag.

"Move forward, I want to end this as quickly as possible," Quiteria said to her team members.

As they moved along, walking on the trees and jumping from branch to branch, taking advantage of their high mobility in the trees, Jack couldn't help but comment.

"You're in a hurry, there's no need to be so stressed. With Qin defending the flag, it's just a matter of time before we win," Jack said.

Turning to him, Quiteria replied, "You know who else said that we didn't need to do anything? Snow. And guess what, he lost because he underestimated too much. I don't intend to make the same mistake," Quiteria said.

"You know, Snow only lost because of the circumstances. Besides the boss, nobody can beat him in brute force. That kid was just faster. If Snow had landed a single blow, he would have won for real," Jack said.

Mockingly, Quiteria replied to what she thought about Snow's fight against Aurelio.

"He would have won, but he didn't win. So it doesn't matter what could have happened, but the fact is Snow lost, period. If he had taken it seriously from the start, he would have won for real. But that's not what happened. So I intend to finish things here as quickly as possible, even though I know Qin won't lose," Quiteria said.

"So, how was your meeting with Scar, Balak?" asked an old man.

Sighing, Balak replied, "What do you think? He wants to kill me even more now."

Laughing, the old man said jokingly, "Of course he wants to kill you. In fact, he must be eager to see us all die, hahaha," said the old man.

Another of the six people spoke, this time a woman who wasn't old but also wasn't young.

"Balak, have you seen Snow?" the woman asked with concern.

Shaking his head, Balak talked about what happened before he arrived.

"I understand, but it's truly impressive that someone so young defeated Snow," another person said.

"Indeed, could he be with Scar?" asked another.

"No, he's definitely like us, but I can't say the same about their leader. He just seems like us, but he's definitely like Scar. I still don't know what Scar's plan is with him in this competition, but I'm sure they're planning something, and it's definitely not something good," Balak said.

"Are you sure he's like Scar?" another person asked.

"Yes, he gives me the same feeling as Scar and the Guardians," Balak said.

"I wonder if he's as bad as Scar is," the person asked again.

"I can't answer that yet since I haven't been able to talk to him. Qin was monitoring me until I left the village," Balak replied.

"Uhmm, we need to know more about this outsider. If he's not as bad as Scar, maybe he can help us," one of the people said.
