Chapter 36: Crisis

"Can you handle it? No, you can't!"

Link's actions and gaze conveyed exactly that message.

The hurt wasn't significant, but the insult was profound.

Lotson fully grasped Link's meaning and gradually became enraged.

There's a limit to what one can bear, and this was beyond it.

You can't treat someone like this!

With his eyes bulging, Lotson glared fiercely at Link, so angry that his lips began to tremble.

But despite his fury, Lotson didn't lash out. Instead, he closed his mouth, turned his head away, and acted as though he no longer wished to speak with Link.

Link smiled, unperturbed by Lotson's performance, and seriously considered Lotson's idea of "killing someone with a borrowed knife."

If anyone else had proposed this idea, it would have seemed far-fetched.

The Great Sage Mitchell was already a Level Nine Great Sage, notoriously difficult to deal with.
