Chapter 14 Willpower

The war abruptly came to a halt.

Some individuals and powers were in the know, while others were clueless.

The Supreme Council, encompassing the Central Plains, the East Coast, the West Coast, the South Region, and the North Region, tacitly turned their attention to the focus within Ravensmouth College's camp.

Without exception, their primary concern was the whereabouts of Link Grande.

At this juncture, the entire Wizard World was awaiting the birth of the child in Jasmine's womb.

Unaware of all this was Jasmine, who remained "secluded" in Dean Frist's Destiny World, even though she had the prophetic abilities shared by the God Devouring Worm, despite not being truly cut off from the world.

"Are you ready?"

Dean Frist stood opposite Link and asked softly.

"What can I do if I'm not ready?"

Link's expression was calm, showing neither resentment nor malice, only resignation.

Link had nothing to complain about with the way things had developed to this point.
