Sea Monster (2)

"I'm tired already," Ben tiredly mumbles as he falls to the ground next to me.

I gazed at him in pity because I know how long we have been dealing with this crazy monster. It was almost an hour already and still, we are yet to even injure it.

The monster seemed hard to touch despite its height and size. It was able to dodge all of our attacks and even counterattack most of the attacks given to it.

The weapons Lizzy gave to us weren't enough to fight against the monster because it was too short. If we were to attack it, we have to do it from a close range and that was impossible to do.

Ben who is the weakest among us had tried his best and now he is exhausted to continue. Now it's just me and Ruben against the emperor-level monster.

"You guys forget to tell me that it can also find us by our smell," I said to Ruben.

"We didn't notice that until now," Ben replied from where he was sitting.
