The rocky terrain stretched out endlessly before me, a monotonous expanse of jagged boulders and uneven ground. The heat had lessened, but a new discomfort gnawed at me: hunger.
My stomach rumbled, a persistent reminder that I hadn't eaten in hours. I tried to ignore it, focusing instead on keeping my footing steady as I navigated the rugged landscape.
Three hours left. The countdown in the sky seemed to move slower with each passing minute. My body felt heavy, each step more laborious than the last. The adrenaline from the earlier fight had long since faded, replaced by a growing fatigue.
"Just keep moving," I told myself, wiping sweat from my brow. "You've got this."
As I climbed over a particularly large boulder, I felt a strange tingling sensation. Suddenly, a hologram flickered into existence before me, visible only to my eyes. It was a message, clear and direct: "You are close to a trap."
