On Wednesday morning, Oliver stood in front of his condo. The last time he spent the night here was on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, he slept at Liam's place. It had been a struggle to assure Liam that he was fine and that he would be able to take care of himself. Liam was missing classes a lot, which was bad for him. He was also missing soccer practice, which he was supposed to have resumed on Monday. Worse of all, Liam's mother was alone at the hospital since Lucy could not leave Cindy and return to Western Coast. Liam was giving up too much for him, and he didn't want that. So, despite his stubbornness, he had assured Liam that he was fine and only needed to stay at his place today. He wanted to be alone for the rest of the day. And even though Liam hadn't wanted to let him go, he didn't have a choice.
