Chapter Twenty-Eight
She had gotten Chief’s address from Kate, who apparently knew everything about the company. For over a week, she had thought and thought of what she was to do. Was it the right thing to ignore the fact that Tade’s father had been involved in illegal practices? Wasn’t it right to report all she knew to the police? Still, her feelings for Tade betrayed the common sense she was supposed to have.
On the one hand, she wanted to forget the fact that Tade would hate her forever if she took everything she knew to the police, and just report him, while on the other hand, she just wanted to pretend that nothing was wrong and stay with Tade, because she loved him.
