The minute he heard Alac's car drive out, he became so happy. 

Finally he would be able to spend the night in his lover's arms, nothing could be better. 

He stepped into the big park and sat down, he had arranged a little something for her, something to brighten up her smile.

He stared at the moon, it was some minutes past after the moon came out.

Why wasn't she there yet? Did she forget and sleep off? It was unlike Annabel not to want to spend the night with him.

He waited few more minutes and stepped into the house, in a bid to look for her. She was nowhere to be found, wasn't with the other pets either. 

He walked up to Alac's room and discovered it was locked.

Did he take her with him?

He fondled with the lock a little and heard a scratch at the back of the door from the inside.
