"What did you say?" She asked him in shock. 

He gave a nervous laugh. 

"Okay you don't have to take me seriously. I was just saying things out of my head. Must be the influence of alcohol."

She did not believe him but decide to let it slide. She asked him another question again. 

"What do you think about having a girlfriend?"

"I don't know. I haven't found the one that can be in that position. Also I don't think the person I love would accept me. She doesn't like me." He replied sincerely. 

"Well that must be because you are a jerk. I can relate with whoever that is." 

He laughed, "I'm not that bad, I just haven't found the right person like I said before. Why not believe me?"

She shrugged, "Why don't you convince me. There's nothing to lose." 

He moved his eyes to her lips, "You really want me to convince you? Are you sure of that?"

"Yes, convince me you're someone who can be a great boyfriend." She dared him.
