Running Laps

Hao Shen didn't go back to sleep after he saw the sun rising, he was baffled by Kevin's action, 'why'd he run away like that?' Hao Shen wandered as he looked at his hands that felt a little wet, 'what part of Kevin's body was I holding, it could just be his hands or something', he shook his head 'I shouldn't be bothering myself with these things'.

Hao Shen called out the system notification once more and looked at the informations wile planning his next step, as he had already made a pot using rocks, he planned on making other things as he needed a lot of kitchen items.

Just as he was thinking, Reid came to visit, the cave was already opened so he simply walked in. Reid didn't consider if it was too early for a visit or not.

If there was any issue with a female in a tribe it didn't matter the time, the witch doctor must be available.

After walking in, Reid saw Hao Shen sitting on the floor crossed legged, he was on a daze as he was still unaware of someone else's presence in the cave.

Reid had to call out to Hao Shen before Hao Shen snapped out of his day dreams. "oh , you're here.. why are you here early?", Hao Shen asked, the sun just finished rising and Reid was already at his door.

"Well Lisa liked the medicine you made and asked me to come get another one, could you make another one for Lisa", After Lisa drank that medicine, she became much more energetic, though she still couldn't get off the bed, she could now sit by herself and she could talk normally again.

When the other mates of Lisa came back and saw that Lisa was doing better they all felt relieved, they no longer isolated Reid and asked him about the witch doctor he found, of course Reid happily told them everything he knew about Hao Shen. They were awed by his story, they all sat down to discuss Hao Shen's mysterious origin, of course they wanted to come see Hao Shen themselves but Reid told them it's better he went since he was already acquainted to Hao Shen.

Hao Shen easily agreed to making another bowl of medicine for Lisa. But he needed ingredients for either making the food he had planned to make for Lisa or making the medicinal liquid, thinking he could find some of the ingredients he needed in Vince's cave, Hao Shen asked Reid to take him to the cave, but Reid told him about how they had found Vince and brought him back, he also told Hao Shen how Vince hated it when his herbs were touched by other beast men.

After Reid was done speaking and complaining about Vince's stay away from my cave rules, he still wanted to take Hao Shen there since both vince and Hao Shen were both witch doctors, Vince wouldn't make a big fuss about it, after all he was still injured and with his condition he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

But Hao Shen stopped him after hearing all that, it wasn't good to take people's stuff especially when they can't fight back. "I'll just wait till Kevin gets back, at the main time, I need you to bring me some meat that I would prepare for Lisa". Hearing that Hao Shen was going to wait for Kevin, Reid felt confused but since Hao Shen sent him to go hunt for his female, he happily went away.

And just as he left, Kevin returned looking a little warn out, Reid wanted to stop and go back, but remembering that he had his own task, he didn't bother greeting Kevin and just went on his way.

Kevin returned looking exhausted and didn't forget to come back with Hao Shen's fruits, he had to run round the tribe in order to cool off, his mind kept replaying the scene that took place in the cave and the more he recalled the more helpless his situation became, which in turn made him run a few more extra laps.

It was only when the excitement in his lower body subsided, that he went to get the fruits he promised Hao Shen, though his member had calmed down significantly, his mind was still in a chaos, Kevin felt irked, he felt that he should've just let Hao Shen continue pinching him, though it was painful, the pleasure he felt was something else entirely.

But despite his body and minds cravings, his rationality forced him to stop Hao Shen from continuing with his endeavor, he knew that Hao Shen could not see and was simply curious but if Hao Shen was to find out about this, it would cause a rift in their current relationship, he had to stop while he could still control himself.

But oh how regretful Kevin felt at this moment, it was only when Kevin returned to the cave that he remembered he hadn't closed the cave with the boulder, but seeing Reid leaving, he felt relieved. He walked into the cave and saw Hao Shen sitting down and reading a book, Kevin walked up to Hao Shen and looked at the book and was instantly disappointed.

It was one of those books with weird markings that he couldn't understand. Hao Shen was reading the book the system gave him to study about the female anatomy, noticing the shadow behind him he looked up and saw Kevin, in all honesty he was not surprised, instead he was displeased "it was about time you showed up", he closed the book in his hands and put it back in his backpack.

"Sorry I - I was busy", Kevin didn't want to lie to Hao Shen, but he wasn't lying, he was only hiding the truth, he would only speak up if he was asked and right now Hao Shen wasn't asking.

Hao Shen didn't really care what Kevin was up to, so even if he found Kevin's reply a little suspicious, he didn't bother asking. "Do you remember everything I used in cooking the medicine yesterday?" seeing that Kevin nodded, the impatience that Hao Shen felt earlier subsided a bit, "could you be so kind as to help me find those herbs?" seeing that Kevin nodded again, Hao Shen smiled at him.

Even after the incident where Vince almost had his way with him, or so Hao Shen thought, he still didn't think it nice to take someone's things, especially after finding out how that person didn't like their things being touched.

Receiving Hao Shen's smile, Kevin involuntarily smile back at him, he quickly went out to get those ingredients, and since he was in a good mood, he decided to get lots of those herbs. It didn't take him much time to bring them back to the cave.

Upon receiving these bunch of ingredients Hao Shen felt surprised that Kevin hadn't made any mistakes, he really did remember every single herb, Hao Shen was still oblivious of the abilities of the beast men, and how strong their senses were.

Even if Kevin couldn't recognize those herbs by their looks, he sure as hell could recognize them by their smell. Kevin had picked up the smell of all the herbs while Hao Shen was cooking, so he was able to bring everything Hao Shen asked for.

But looking at the crude way Kevin had dug these herbs out, Hao Shen felt sorry for these herbs. Basically Kevin literally just pulled them out, some of them were pulled from the roots while others were broken at the stem. Hao Shen didn't feel like scolding or teaching Kevin how to properly harvest herbs, he just let it slide with a "good job", he would teach Kevin those things later, but right now he had other things he needed Kevin to do.

Hao Shen felt that with Kevin's speed, he could get the rest of the ingredients he needed.

Hao Shen brought out the book he was studying earlier, it was not just filled with the female anatomy, but some information about herbs that could and couldn't benefit females, and thankfully, these informations came with diagrams of said herbs.

Why was Hao Shen looking for these herbs, well, there was no artificial spices around, and with the information given on these herbs.
