FAMILY SECRETS

"Are you still going through those files?" Jeffery asked as he stumped into the office, as expected he saw Xavier sitting on his chair with his eyes buried on the files. 

"I know you don't really have a closing time but you know it's already past six, you've had your eyes on those files the entire day" Jeffery complained as he walked in and took a sit on the couch. 

This was Xavier's habit, staying up late in the office, he had an assistant for god's sake so why would he bother himself to go through the files.

"As you can see am busy" Xavier said still not removing his eyes from the files. 

"You are always busy, there is never a time that you are not busy I know" Jeffery said and then paused for a few seconds before adding. "Hey, can I spend the night at your place today?" Jeffery asked and he saw Xavier pause.
