Made of Stardust

I wish you could see yourself like I see the stars

Your own light-like those around you

Illuminating the best in others, because you are the kind of dream that brings the best in others

The Earth must be so in love with the Sun,

Because of its natural gravity and creating the center of our lives

And absorbs that radiating unconditional warmth that keeps us alive everyday

And sustains us to move forward

Without our stars the universe would be a cold, harsh, never ending expanse

But we have our stars

God created people in his likeness, shaping us from stardust

One only needs to look up to see our heritage

And where we came from.

I wish you could see through my eyes,

Or those in your sphere of influence

You are beautiful

And give us hope and a truth-

Hope that we can shine like you

And a truth when I look at you
