Beasts to Beauties: A Mother's Unearthly Gift

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? Name the beasts

"Mom, you need not worry yourself," said the mixed-colored haired lady. "Even though we don't know how humans do things, our brothers still know how to handle human affairs. I'm very sure the person they robbed isn't someone good. We beasts have the talent to sense human emotions; I can guarantee they act according to what they sense." The white-haired lady consoled Emmy and held her hand gently.

"That's right, Mother," said the mixed-colored haired lady, sitting beside Emmy.

The golden-haired lady sat in front of Emmy and gave her an assuring smile.

Emmy looked at her daughters and smiled, tears rolling down her cheek. She wiped them away and stood up, walking towards the entrance of the cave. She rolled aside the large stone that served as the door and saw her three sons kneeling at the entrance without any expression on their faces. Emmy's heart twisted, and she took a deep breath. "Enter first," she said, walking inside.

As the three entered, Emmy sat down on a nearby rock and said, "I want to hear the explanation behind your actions." She tried to look cold but couldn't, no matter how hard she tried. She couldn't bear to be so hard on them.

The red-haired handsome man looked at Emmy, but his gaze was no longer cold and emotionless. The cave had no soundproofing, so Emmy's conversation with the ladies was heard by them, and they now viewed her as a mother instead of just a human who lent them her body so they could exist.

In fact, they were supposed to have killed her immediately after they were born because she knew their true identity, and they wanted to live freely without the fear of someone exposing their identity. But they couldn't because they could sense her willingness to accept them as her children. However, they didn't completely trust her, as human hearts are complicated. They had brought expensive things just to test her, maybe she would abandon them as soon as she saw what she needed most. But who would have thought that she had passed through a lot and was willing to be a good mother, even though her children were not human? She even abandoned the tempting items, thus they willingly accepted her as their mother and vowed not to make her suffer anymore.

"The money I used to buy this was stolen by a man, so I took it from him...I just took the amount I needed and returned the remaining to the original owner," the red-haired handsome man explained briefly.

Emmy was dumbfounded. "What logic is this?" she frowned. "Were you seen?" she voiced her most significant concern.

The handsome red-haired man shook his head. "No one saw me."

Emmy gave him a questioning gaze.

"I have the ability to blind humans for a few hours. Both the thief and the money owner were blinded by me, aside from them, no one was around. They will recover their sight by tomorrow," he explained.

Emmy slowly nodded her head.

"You will dispose all of this things because the money is not ours, and we can't eat this. Even though you returned the remaining, it still didn't change the fact that you stole it, so we won't touch it. And from now on, none of you should think about robbing someone or take action to rob someone. If this repeats itself, I will disown you, understood?"

"Yes," replied the red-haired handsome man.

Emmy nodded her head and turned to the silver-haired man. "And you...how did you get money?" she asked.

The silver-haired handsome man scratched the back of his head. "I intended to trade one of my treasures with money, but who would have thought that the buyer would want to act smart? As soon as I gave him the treasure and he gave me the money, he sent his men to rob the money from me, so I was angry and took the treasure back, took some amount of money that I needed before throwing the remaining money at him," he explained.

Emmy's mouth was wide open, and she didn't know what to say. "This...does that count as stealing?" she wondered.

"...It is...erm...you beat them?"

"I did," replied the silver-haired man.

Emmy's mouth twitched. "Don't do this again. No matter what someone did to you, you can't steal their things. Oh right...I don't oppose beating them...some humans deserve beating."

"Alright, Mother," replied the silver-haired man.

"I will distribute the clothes to the orphans. I won't take this as well," Emmy said.

"Don't worry, I will take it out," replied the silver-haired man.

"And you, what do you have to say?" she turned to the black-haired man.

"I didn't steal it. The fruits are wild fruits from the forest," the black-haired man replied calmly.

"That's good," Emmy smiled and then thought for a while before saying "Don't think that I'm bad, okay? I love you all equally, and I don't want anything to happen to you. That's why I'm doing all this, okay? Don't worry, I will try my best to provide your needs, okay?"

Everyone nodded their heads.

"Alright, let's eat," Emmy said happily.

The black-haired man went out and dragged the bag full of fruits in, and the others immediately took fruit and started eating.

Emmy looked at their union and smiled happily, feeling deeply touched.

Ever since her mother had remarried, this was her first time smiling so happily from the bottom of her heart. This happened because of her children. "I should take very good care of this blessing," she swore inwardly.

"That's right...Mom should name us," the golden-haired lady suddenly said with an apple in her hand.

The others looked at Emmy with expectation.

"Let me start with the men," Emmy said, looking happy and thinking. "Your name shall be Dimitri," she pointed at the red-haired handsome man. "It suits you the best." She chuckled.

"Your name shall be Dave," Emmy pointed at the black-haired handsome man. "You are an eagle, so it's okay."

"Your name shall be Desmond," she pointed at the silver-haired handsome man. "You are too handsome to be called a god." She teased, and everyone smiled.

"Let's move to our beauties," Emmy said, smiling widely. "You are beautiful with your golden hair; your name shall be Sonia," she patted the golden-haired lady's cheek.

"Your name shall be Sona, since you are very beautiful and proud," she rubbed the two mixed-colored haired lady hair.

"I might be proud, but not in front of my mother," the blue-green haired lady said with a charming smile. Emmy chuckled. "That's my daughter," she commented and turned to the white-haired beautiful lady.

"Your name shall be Snow, since you are very matchless with the nature of snow, and you are snow yourself."

"I love it, Mom," the white-haired lady smiled.

Emmy rubbed her hair affectionately. "From now on, you all should be one and forget that you are from different species. You should remember that you are my children, and you all must love each other. You should do things in harmony, and you should always remember that you are the children of one mother, and you should always remember your name. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Mother," they all replied in unison.

Emmy smiled in satisfaction. This way, they won't despise themselves, and the bond of siblings between them will be tight.

"Alright, let's sleep now. We will leave this place tomorrow," Emmy said, and everyone nodded their heads and found a spot to sleep. Emmy gathered grass together and made a grass bed, and she was about to lay down when she heard her children's voices.

"Mom," Snow, Sona, and Sonia called at the same time, stretching out their hands, which were holding different fruits, towards Emmy.

Emmy smiled warmly and collected the fruit from them before laying on her grass bed. She bit into the fruit and watched as her children slept.

"Seems like I will need that woman's help," she thought to herself and continued eating. After she finished the fruits, she dozed off.
