Chapter 19 The Welcome Ceremony

　　Caitlyn's POV

　　The witch named Camille's words left Talon worried for days. I was being watched much more closely than before, and on a few occasions, even Leona had to go through multiple searches when she came to see me.

　　Despite my clear objections to this behavior, my opinion didn't matter to anyone.

　　"Keep an eye on Caitlyn for me. Anyone who tries to get to her will have to step over your dead body first," were Talon's exact words to Bard, and Bard strictly enforced them.

　　"Caitlyn, tomorrow Alpha Shaco is hosting a party to welcome Talon, and the entire pack will be in attendance. He said he would like you to be there."

　　My father gently pushed the door to my room open, dressed in his formal attire, looking like he had just returned from a meeting with the Alpha.

　　"Okay, Father, I understand."
