Chapter 31 The path to Realms

"That is how you know? the lightning coming off her?" Art asked

"Yes. When she first appeared in the realm I moved her in, she fell with that lighting coming off her," The figure told her,

Art only heard of this lighting once before in the legend in the realm Shai is put in, the scroll had the lightning with the woman of myth, and the figures with the deities looked for the woman but after time they stopped. they went back to their realms waiting to see if the woman would appear... Art believed it didn't come, but when Leif came to her and told her Shai disappeared, she knew it was a time of great affliction for that realm. this one already had there's.

"You knew her, did you?"

Art had her eyes closed, but she looked back

at the figure, "Yes I have," She answered

"Was she happy here?"

"I was sure she was, she just got in her apparent three weeks ago until she had to leave,"

"Does she have the support she needs to help this realm?" Art continued

"She has a certain few that have helped her along, with the other deity that you might know," The figure answered

"Good," Art muttered

"Figure I want to know if her ability has shown more..."

The figure felt something watching them and looked behind Art at the wooden door with carvings glowing, the blond woman he had met before was watching them with fear laced in her eyes. Art is still talking to him,

"Figure?"

"Sonya! Where did you,"

Sonya glanced behind her, hearing Leif's footsteps draw near her with the figure and Art now staring at her, Art placed her hand on her face muttering, "I asked him to do one thing, and he couldn't watch her,"

Leif appeared behind Sonya looking at them and then placed a hand on Sonya's shoulder,

"I see you are looking into this Sonya," Leif said 

"I had no idea. it was this out there," She mumbled

"Leif I asked you to do one thing!"

Leif looked at Art and saw that she seemed angry, he let out a chuckle and went past Sonya to them, with a sheepish smile,

"I didn't think she would look… no she would," He stated 

"That won't matter now, Leif." Art mutters, and then a thought comes to her mind,

"You weren't boring her with the books you used to read to Shai, were you?"

"NO, I wouldn't..."

"I don't believe lying to me is wise of you Aqua," Art spoke

She glares at Leif with her eyes having a faint green glow to the spooking Leif but he stands there trying to look unfazed, 

"I might have mentioned it to her, but," 

"Then you talked about the past and didn't do what I told you," Art cut him off. 

"Yeah," Leif muttered

The figure watched on with a faint laugh coming from it, while Sonya watched dazed wondering how she got into this problem… her job. The figure looked back at Sonya and went next to her, with Art and Leif still conversing.

"Hi," The figure said

Sonya glanced at him, remembering how she had first met him. She moved slightly away from him, letting out a quick greeting, "H...HI,"

"I don't mean to frighten you. I just wanted to say that,"

The figure stopped remembering how she acted with him but put that aside. He did something wrong as well. Sonya stared at him concerned until she heard the figure say, "I apologize for hurting you the way I did, it was unbecoming of me," 

"I..."

Sonya took a moment before saying, "I was not in the right ether...I accepted your apology,"

They both looked back at Art and Leif to see them stop talking, staring at them, Leif walked over to them,

"Are you finally going to tell me where my daughter is? I can't get it out of Art, but maybe I could get it out of you this time," Leif said

"I suppose that I can. But first, why is she here?" The figure asked

"She is here to know, what he knows," Art spoke from behind Leif,

Leif moves aside, letting Art walk toward the figure.

"How much are you going to let this one know, Artemis?" The figure asked

She didn't seem to like that and glared at the figure,

"Whatever I want," She scoffed

"You know that's not how it works Artem..."

She glares at him again. The figure stops feeling as if death could walk by him, Leif chuckled and recalled the time he called her by her real name,

"Yes, I know how things work figure, however, I have no choice in this matter,"

She walked over to a book shelve, grabbing a book whose name is The Path Of Realms. Art went into the middle of the room and placed the book down, She glanced over at them, seeing the figure looking at her with his eyes shining a bright red.

"This could be dangerous Art. You don't know who she is," The figure told her,

Art looked at Leif and asked, "Will she tell anyone?"

Leif glanced at her and saw the determination in Sonya. one that could not be deterred. he knew he had that as well,

"She won't tell anyone,"

Art looked at Sonya who agreed, "I won't tell anyone of this, but I will have to come up with something for work,"

Art opened the book with a blue glimmer sprouting out of it, it swirled around them moving past Leif and Sonya, it moved past the figure up above them and scatter. it disappeared. 

"What?" Sonya muttered 

Art held up her hand motioning for her to wait,

"Give it just a moment,"

That was all it took, it appeared again, showing multiple worlds and stars. Some would call it a galaxy. Worlds are floating above them with their numbers, and Art touched one of them, moving it around for them to see, Sonya watched amazed as one of the words came into her view, with an iridescent stare shining bright for all to see. She was about to hold out her hand to it, but the figure stopped her, placing his hand on hers,

"That is Realm nine, Twenty-two, Twenty," The figure said

Sonya placed her hand on her side, while Art looked around them looking for their realm along with the realm Shai was in, a world that looked similar to the last one that appeared with the moon next to it having the number above eleven, eight, twenty, 

"This is our world," Art muttered

The world moves around them shining bright with the surrounding clouds, glowing red, Leif moved away as it stopped in front of him, he looked above and saw another world almost like the other one, but it had a dimmed shine with dark clouds around it with no numbers next to it,

"Is that the world Shai is on?" Art asked

She looked at the figure who was staring at the world with deep concern, it didn't look like that before he came here. He walked over to it holding out his hand, he touched the world making it open up to him,

"Yes... it didn't look like that when I,"

"She there?" Leif cut him off 

Leif went to the figure only to be stopped by a voice, "I don't know how Judy..."

Iridescent lightning went past him and touched Art, she looked shocked before a hardened stare went to the figure, He shrugged,

"I told you of the lightning... but I didn't think it would be that prominent," The figure told her,

"She was talking to the figure,"

Sonya now stood next to Leif with the surrounding room, it was a good-sized house with a forest around them, they looked to be in winter, Art brought her hand making the home diaper,

"Art?" Leif muttered

She put her hand up as the voice starts up again. "He told her to watch the Senate,"

The Senate appears in front of them, Art looks over at the figure with frustration in her eyes,

"They are trying to do what they tried here?" 

"Sort of Art,"

"They have something old corruption in the realm. It made manifest in the AI they have," The figure continued

"For that, I can see,"

Art is staring at the Senate and feels an off force from there... something wrong, 

Leif felt the same thing and walking closer to the image while Sonya was in a daze,

"It's almost like our realm," She muttered

"Shai will… watch… over it,"

The image went away, turning to dust before them, Leif looked around the room before the feeling of dread went to his soul, he looked over at the figure,

"What does the voice mean by that," He asked 

The figure looked at him with its eyes glowing red,

"She will watch over their problem. For now,"
