At Sea

Eastside of Barandia

A day before their first contact to the north, a carrier strike group is sent to the east to scan their surrounding ocean for any threats

The Carrier strike group is consist of 1 Ezra-class carrier (Nimitz-class), 1 Miramar-class cruiser (Ticonderoga-class), 2 Mandera-class destroyers (Arleigh Burke-class), and 1 Athena-class submarine (Virginia-class)

As they traveled for about 2,000 miles out the sailor of the carrier BRS Logan B. Stiller spotted something on the radar screen, he then report to the CO

"Sir SIR!"

"What is it private?" The

"Our radar Have spotted an Unknown Aircraft 500 miles north-east of our location"

"Is it hostile?"

"negative sir, the aircraft's speed is slower in the radar screen, we should sent our fighters to intercept"

"Afirmative, I want 2 fighters to intercept this unknown aircraft!" The Commander shouted

They sent 2 F-14D super tomcats to intercept the anomaly, As they fly towards where the thing is located the F-14 pilots couldn't make out what it is but as they fly further they are surprised at what it is

In the sky was a very huge airship flying silently toward its destination, they are so shocked that their co-pilots took a picture of the airship and the design is quite similar to the Hindenburg

The pilots radio back to the carrier and explain it to the CO, a single F-14 pilot decided he should get a closer look at the airship and maintain distance

As he gets closer one of the passengers in the dining room of the airship heard a strange whirring noise that they look to their right they are surprised to see the F14 with its wings swept back flying a bit close to the window where the passengers are

one of the passengers started to spoke

"Oh my, what is that thing!?"

"My god! why that thing doesn't have any propellers!"

"I never seen that emblem or that flag before?"

"Mommy there's someone in that aircraft"

As they look at the canopy of the F14 the pilots see they are looking that they just wave at them

But considering that they are amazed at the F14 that the pilot decided to do the unthinkable to impress them

He first move away slightly to distance to his plane and to the airship, then he slightly sped up, and just as he does that he slow his speed and pitch up at the same time into a post-stall maneuver

The Passengers and the kids were surprisingly Amazed by his maneuver trick, but just as they are going to wave goodbye at them their co-pilots spot something on their radars

It was a squadron of 9 ww2 propeller fighters coming at the airship to shoot it down with its passengers

"Maverick 1 to Command!" Maverick 1 said

"Command to Maverick 1 over" Command said to Maverick 1

"Maverick 1 to Command!, requesting permission to engage the hostiles on trying to take down the airship over!" Maverick 1 responded

It was silent for 7 seconds until the Command respond saying "You are clear to engage all hostiles Maverick 1 weapons free"

"Roger that sir!" Maverick 1 said

The F-14's does a sharp turn and start to lock onto the fighters

"FOX 3!" the pilot shouted

They fired 2 AIM-120 air-to-air missiles each at the fighters

4 missiles destroyed 4 fighters and they spread out trying to eliminate the F-14's

the fighter pilots try to fire their machine guns at the F-14's but they are just fast and agile than them

Considering the ww2 planes are slow and they are using propellers and pistol engines the F14 pilot decided to use its Gatling gun to destroy them

"BRRRRRRRRRT!!!" A 20mm M61 Vulcan have fired at the fighters

a tracer of 20mm rounds have pierced the frame of the fighter planes and their canopies are now covered with blood

The 2 F-14's have managed to decimate the fighter squadron with their air-to-air missiles and M61 Vulcans

When they get back at the airship they were praised by the passengers for saving them from death, they manage to wave at the pilots goodbye and they head back to the Logan B. Stiller
