Chapter Five

Ren walks over. "Why are you saying sorry," he said. Haruki nods. "But everyone stopped," he asks. "We're amazed you could do what we are doing at a young age," he said. Haruki looks. "It's not hard," he said and ran, did a triple twist, and landed. Ren smiles and claps. Haruki smiled and got back next to the coach, and they got back to practice. Haruki was watching happily. He stood up and saw the ice rick on the first floor. His eyes got wide, and he was watching. He rushed down. He was watching them practice. He was amazed. Ren walks down. "You want to do ice skating," he asks. The young kids were whispering, "Ren can we take your picture one asked. Ren nods. He took the pictures. "Where is your coach," he asks. They took him. They talked for a while. Haruki was worried when Shichigahama walked up. "He is just seeing if it's a good idea for you to join since we leave for America when we finish school," he said. He nods. Ren walks back over. "So, since they are training for competitions, you cant join, but the coach told me you can practice with them," he said. Haruki hugs him. "Thank you," he said. "Guess we need ice stakes," he said. Ren said and stretched. Shichigahama laughs. "Yea,h let's go shopping for him," he said. "For high schoolers, you two are very grown," a lady said, seeing them with Haruki. Ren places over his shoulder. "We were trained in discipline, ensuring we are on time and study and keeping up with a team that needs us," he said. Shichigahama smiles. "We also love each other so," he said and walked off. "We have a week left in school. We would need luggage and such," Ren said. Shichigahama nods. "Yeah, getting room stuff would be kinda pointless. He can sleep with one of us," he said. "Also, getting started in school would be dumb," Ren said. A lady stopped him. "Your son is stunning. His pale skin and white hair and his red eyes," she said. Haruki hid in Shichigahama's arms. "Lady, can you leave us alone," he said. "Ice stakes for kids last about a month, correct," he asks. The person nods. "If they are doing figure staking, about six weeks," he said. Ren signs rubbing his eyes. Only Shichigahama knew he had money. "Okay, we will take the first six sizes from step one, please," he said. The lady got them, and Ren paid, and they got clothes and such for Haruki and bags. They soon passed their final exams and finished high school, and before they knew it was on a plane to America. Haruki was watching Frozen 2. He was singing along to the movie. Both Ren and Shichigahama were asleep. When they landed, Ren stretched and walked out holding Haruki, they got their bags, and the Coach of the American team was there to greet them. Ren walked up and shook his hand. Shichigahama shook his hand and got in and ca. r "So the group shares a space, and because you wanted to travel as a family, we had to upgrade your room to fit your son." he said. "You and Peter would get along. He is traveling with his daughter," he said. Ren nods, worried. "We are a lot younger than the rest of your tea,m sir," he said. The coach nods. "I know young blood is always needed. Don't worry," he said. The car pulled into a lovely building, and they all got out. The team rushed over and helped with the bags; Haruki was still scared of big groups. Once in their room, Haruki got down and unpacked and pulled his stakes out. "Daddy Ren is there an Ice Rink," he asks. Ren laughs. "We will see, okay," he said. "Yeah, kid, we might have to do a test practice with the new team," Shichigahama said. Haruki nodded. "Okay," he said. There was a knock. Ren opens it. Peter was standing there with his daughter. "Welcome," he said. Ren smiles. "Thank you; I am Rein. This is my life partner Shichigahama and our son Haruki," he said. Haruki waves. Shichigahama smiles. "Nice to meet you," he said and shook his hand. "I am Peter, and this is my daughter Charlotte," he said. She waves. "Oh, this might be odd, but is there an ice rink around Haruki would like to know," Ren asks. Peter smiles. "Yeah, there is one next to the gym we practice at," he said. Haruki smiles. "well, the team wants to meet you guys when you are ready," he said. "Oh, just a heads up, Chris isn't a kid person, so that he will have a rude comment," he said and walked off. Ren looks at Shichigahama like give me permission to put him in his place if he starts something. Shichigahama laughs. "Let's meet everyone before we start a fight," he said. They walk out, and they meet everyone. Chris saw Haruki. Ren had his arms around him as he should have in front of him. "Another kid fuck" he said. Ren looked at Shichigahama. He steps forward. "Yes, we travel together, which is what we are good at. We do, and Haruki is amazing, son, so please, would you kindly shut up," he said. Haruki smiles hearing it.
