Little Ming

After entering the crack, Venerable Ye saw two paths; one leading above while the other below.

Signifying the Gods Realm and the Mortal World.

While most people of the Greater Heaven would have chosen the path leading to God's Realm, he didn't.

Without a shred of doubt, he walked towards the other path leading to the Mortal World.

"Finally, I will meet you."

"Hope you know me and don't think that I abandoned you."

Venerable Ye sighed as he walked down the path to the Mortal World.

While walking Mortal World, he saw many galaxies surrounding the Milky Way Galaxy, in which far away in the corner was our Solar System, though it looked smaller when compared to an ant in comparison to Planet Vaiora and its other planetary systems and formations, he didn't have any thought about it, as he was from here as well.

Although Venerable Ye was walking, his speed can only be considered godly.

With each step, he was thousands of kilometres away from his previous position. 

Walking towards the Earth, Venerable Ye saw a highly dense layer of spirit repulsion layer covering the Earth.

He thought for a while before not understanding it and went to the layer walking at it.

As he went closer to the layer that encased the Earth, he felt a huge pressure suppressing his powers.

Feeling the sudden oppressive force on himself, Venerable Ye frowned for a moment. 

Noticing that he would not be able to go against the layer he tried to forcefully cross it.

While crossing he felt a pang of burning pain in his dantian.

Dantian was a place in the body where all one's Spirit Energy was stored.

He felt as if the layer was not just suppressing his powers but more likely destroying them.

He felt tremendous pain in his soul as if it was being torn apart.

Somehow trying to neglect this burning and tearing pain in his soul and body, Venerable Ye started to rush towards the Earth's atmosphere where he found out that his cultivation was getting decreased with each step he got closer to it.

Though it was not completely removed; compared to what he was before, he was not even considered as an ant now.

He let go of the thought as he started falling through clouds like a meteor, he used everything he could think of.

Although he was very powerful compared to an Earth mortal. He couldn't fly with his decreased cultivation, so he might crash and though not be turned into meat paste, he would die for sure after getting injured in Soul and Dantian. 

Venerable Ye thought for a while and called for the Samsara Crown, now Ring as it expanded to his height and started spinning.

Though it also couldn't use its full power due to suppression, it only covered him.

The Samsara Ring started spinning and formed a halo of a sphere around Venerable Ye and the speed of his fall thus decreased by more than half.

Though he now could survive, he might still suffer some minor injuries due to crashing.

Still, he tried to crash on a soft pile of mud and not rocks, but, he got some deep cuts on his skin.

"BOOM"

With a loud bang and shaking of the ground, he crashed which resulted in a formation of a crater. 

The deep crater was of a 100-meter radius. 

With his sight getting blurry Venerable Ye couldn't see what had been the result of his fall around the region. 

With somewhat little consciousness he had, Venerable Ye tried to walk toward the nearby village.

He had seen a few houses while he was still falling down.

His legs were shaking even though he walked, but still preserving himself, Venerable Ye walked to the light of the houses which he could see from afar. 

He didn't know how far he had walked by now, walking to a house which he found the closest, he knocked.

When he heard someone coming to open the door, he fell to the ground losing his last bit of consciousness.

"Uncle, uncle wake up! "

The last thing he saw was a blurry figure of a small child calling for her father.

"ARGH"

With slight pain in his Dantian and all over his body, Ye Qian woke up and gazed around. 

To his amazement there was a little girl about 4 years, holding a wooden doll in her hand, sitting by his head.

He could remember the small figure that he saw yesterday while falling unconscious. 

"Dad. Mom, the Big Brother we found woke up!"

Staring at him with her big watery eyes, her brows raised, the little girl looked at him and called her father and mother while running towards the door.

In just a moment a couple appeared right in front of Ye Qian

"Sir, are you feeling better now? "

The woman asked after entering the room and seeing that Ye Qian was awake.

"Yes, I am and thanks a lot!"

"Where am I now and what year is it?"

Ye Qian gave a smile and asked while thanking them.

They both glanced at Ye Qian with a confused look, thinking; 'It's fine to ask where you are but why do you ask what year it is.'

While nodding the man said with a bit of wariness.

"This is the Green River Village, near Shijing District and the year is 2021."

"Sir where are you from?"

The man asked cautiously thinking of Ye Qian being somewhat creepy to ask for the year.

Ye Qian understood his thoughts and thought of himself as being foolish, 'Who in their right mind would ask for what year is going on? It's good enough if they are not thinking of me as an alien!'

He smiled awkwardly and tried to ease them. "I am from Star City, near Shenzhen."

The couple relaxed after listening to his answer and asked him a few questions like what was he doing and why did he ask them the year.

After thinking for a while he answered that he worked in a government base and stayed there so he had no idea of time as they rarely went out.

His answer made them a little suspicious but they didn't ponder over it again.

While they were talking for a while, the little girl came to them and greeted Ye Qian.

"Hello, Big Brother."

The little girl said clumsily while still holding the old ragged doll close to her. 

Ye Qian was delighted by her adorable way of speaking and her habits.

He extended his hand and patted her head, while he might have lost most of his cultivation; nonetheless, he was still the Heavenly Elixir Maker and a Divine Doctor in the Heavenly Realm.

He quickly found something peculiar about the little girl's conditions and his brows furrowed.

He turned his head toward her parents and asked.

"Does she have a problem with blood production?"

They nodded with surprise in their eyes. 

The woman's eyes teared up and she said while sniffing. 

"We went to the doctor near the village he told us that she is weak and will have a frequent fever every now and then. Sniff.."

"Though he gave some medicines, her skin always remains pale and sometimes she cries from severe headaches, also we rarely allow her to play outside as she might get injured, as her blood does not clot quickly. Sniff..."

"Hmm.." Ye Qian nodded.

Though he could cure her, the treatment was to be given at two mouths intervals for a whole year, where he would have to clean her bones and she was to be given a proper diet within that time.

If he was as powerful just as before, Ye Qian could have cured her with just a tap on her head; allowing the Spiritual Energy to readjust her bone marrow and revitalize her body.

But now that he had lost most of his cultivation, he could only think of some simple method.

He looked at her and asked.

"What is your name, Little Lady?"

The little one smiled while playing with her doll and seemed to have liked this Big Brother's way of calling her.

Ye Qian placed his hand on her head, making her feel a cool sensation all over her body as her skin started to turn rosy, just like a healthy child.

"My name is Ming."

The Little one answered with a bright and cheerful smile. 

"Oh, Little Ming! What a cute name for a lovely girl."

"Now tell big brother how you feel?"

Ye Qian asked.

"I feel good, my nose is not runny and the head does not hurt anymore."

Ming said with a cheerful smile while sitting beside Ye Qian as he asked her to sit.

"THUD"

"THUD"

The eyes of Ming's parent's widened and they kneeled on the ground with tears of joy falling from their eyes.

"We tried all doctors, they said that Little Ming would only live for two to three years at most. Thanks a lot, Sir, we will always be grateful to you for saving our Ming."

The lady said while rubbing her tears.

"It's not over yet."

"It will take time for me to cure her, but she will be like a normal child and can play around for the time."

"The treatment will last for a year, every two months, I will come here and treat her, later all of her diseases will be removed from the root, and she will have to suffer no more pain."

Ye Qian said while gently patting Little Ming's head.

He turned to Ming and continued, "Little Ming, now that you are healthy, shouldn't you take me outside and introduce your friends?"

"There will be no more problem for you and you can play as you like."

"Really?"

Little Ming exclaimed in joy after hearing Ye Qian's words. 

"Why would I lie to you, aren't you feeling good now? "

"Ok, Ming will bring Big Brother to play with friends!"

Little Ming nodded with a beaming smile and held Ye Qian's hand.

She started to pull him off the bed towards the door of the house.

Ming's parents watched in a daze as their daughter was cured just by placing a hand on her head.

They were already thinking of Ye Qian as a God.

What they didn't know was; that he preferred staying with his family to being a God and he did it to fulfil his promise.

While Ming's parents were thinking of Ye Qian as a god.

Ye Qian was busy introducing Little Ming and her friends as she introduced everyone to him.

"This is Qing, this is Yin, this is Sen and this is Yufu."

Little Ming said as she introduced two girls and two boys to him, the girls were adorable like dolls while the boys were kind of cute.

They all were about three to four years old.

"Ohh! They are good." Ye Qian said while moving his hands from their heads.

While there were no major diseases in them; they were mostly malnourished.

He poured some tiny bits of his Spiritual Energy into their bodies to have a healthy body.

While looking at their conditions, he turned his head around while looking around the village; thinking.

'The conditions in the village were not so bad, but then too the children were suffering malnutrition, there was a lot of farming land in the village and the soil appears fertile and the production seems a lot as well. '

While he thought of so many things Little Ming and her friends started playing and talking with each other.

"Ming, who is this uncle?"

Little Qing asked while playing with the dollhouse with Little Ming and her doll.

"Oh, Big Brother is a doctor, he was injured yesterday and knocked on our house at night."

"I and Dad saved him and brought him in the house, while I took care of him, he is very good and he even cured my disease and that is why now I can play with you all."

Little Ming said while a proud look on her face as Ye Qian had treated her with care.

"Wow, is he so wonderful? Little Ming, can you ask him to see my mother, she is in pain these few days and doesn't speak about it. Can you ask him to cure my mom?"

Little Qing asked Little Ming with puppy eyes. 

Little Ming nodded while replying, "I will ask him later, let's play now! "

"Yes, thanks Little Ming, I will give you a candy when my mom is cured." Little Qing replied. 

"Ok, now let my Little Ji help your Little Fie with cooking."

Little Ming replied while picking a small mud gas stove and some small utensils made of wood. (These are the names that the girls have given to the dolls.)

"Hey, let them prepare tea first, we will have Sen and Yufu as our guests today and then start preparations for lunch." Little Qing said while she placed the toys.

"Oh, I almost forgot!"

Little Ming said while she facepalmed herself.

After playing for a while, Little Ming looked at Ye Qian who was watching them playing with a gentle smile. 

"She might be just like them, right?"

Little Ming said, "Let's go to Big Brother to talk about your mother."

"Yes, let's go." Little Qing and others replied.
