Azazyel's Multi Story Pile.

Alright, so I have a lot of stories... And frankly, I get a number of commissions for stories I don't want an individual story for here on WB due to the fact we can only have so many stories so here is the spot where I will pile new stuff that may or may not get their own story space.

Story 12 Fate/Fool Chapter 3

With Waver Velvet's class over, the rest of the students quickly split off to go do their own things while I remained with Gray and the teacher so I could be enlightened on generally how utterly screwed I was currently.

"So to start off, what are your plans for the future?" Lord El-Melloi II asked as he worked to put a number of papers into his suit case along with some other knick knacks.

I actually considered that for a long moment as in reality, I didn't have any major goals. But otherwise, I did have a couple of things I want to do. "I would like to enter the department of Spirit Invocation," I answered as in reality I knew I was kinda limited by a lack of teachers who could or would teach me their secrets.

Thankfully with the amount of magic circuits I had, their quality, and of course, the efficiency I had with them due to my Six Eyes. I could almost certainly sustain a Heroic Spirit and not merely a Servant.

And should I have a Heroic Spirit willing to stick with me as I craft a ritual to bind us together... Like a perfect wife like Tamamo, then I would be in the clear for asshole mages messing with me.

My response though to Waver made him raise an eyebrow before he hummed in thought. "Thats... Not too difficult of an idea, and this department of modern mage craft is in fact connected to that department through various factors."

I let him ruminate as I watched as Gray his eternal shadow silently walked over to him and as she looked up at me on the raised seats I saw her face. And it was definitely weird seeing her with a paler Saber/Artoria face.

But she didn't say anything, she seemingly just took in my appearance and then looked down so I couldn't see under her hood anymore as Waver continued on. "Hmm I don't know your strengths and weaknesses as of yet and I won't bother asking or burn any favors I have to try to push you into the department before you prove yourself... Jake was it?" He asked and I nodded for him to go ahead.

"What's your opinion on showing off what your Mystic Eyes do and actually listing your magical circuits. To try to go for an arranged marriage in order to get one of the noble families to support you?" He asked with some distaste on his face and I remembered he was facing a somewhat similar situation.

And then my lips twitched as I was reminded of the quality and quantity of magical circuits I had. To say nothing of the powerful effects of my Six Eyes had on Magecraft and allowing you to use mana at peak efficiency and perfecting spells.

So with a wry smile I said. "I am afraid that should my... Qualities come out, I will face only more trouble."

His face went blank and he looked at me with a scrutinizing look before he looked into my eyes and finally his own lips twerked up as he asked dryly. "Your eyes... They aren't something a human should be able to have right? I always get the most troublesome students so it wouldn't surprise me."

I wondered for a moment on what to say before I took a breath and decided to go for broke as I really needed some kind of backing and the ability to learn how defend myself with magecraft. Magecraft that Waver Velvet would have access to as a Clock Tower Lord who was very sympathetic to people new to the moonlit world like myself.

"I have seen three things of note... Would you like me to say them?" I spoke seriously as I stood up and walked closer to Waver Velvet at the bottom level and Gray stepped between me and her Waver making me through her a look before rolling her eyes as she was entirely too over-protective of him.

Waver nodded as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up with a small flame forming on his finger. "Go ahead, your eyes see the future or something?" He asked almost conversationally.

But I had to dissuade his thoughts as I wasn't going to play at being a seer. No I had something much more real that I could do and knew as even now when I pushed my mana to my eyes... I could see the glow of Rhongymiad Artoria's spear sealed away inside the covered birdcage Gray was holding, along with a sort of ghostly apparition of Artoria herself that was a shell around Gray.

Which allowed her to use Rhongymiad without being killed by its mana cost.

No, I looked at Waver Velvet and spoke with a wide smile. "Your liege lords noble phantasm... His army, did it look like each and every member in his army was from his own period of history?"

Waver froze in place.

His face was struck dumb as the question hit him and I said quietly. "That's right Waver Velvet. El-Melloi II, even now. In different timelines or parallel worlds in which Iskandar is fighting and using his Noble Phantasm, you are there. You are in his reality marble marching at the sounds of his roar and the drums of war as the copy of yourself helps lead your liege lord to victory."

My words were a powerful blow to Waver's heart as he visibly shuddered with his hands going to his suitcase and I froze as he gently pulled out a strip of tattered red cloth and held it every so gently in his hands. The red cloth was part of his liege lord Iskandar's cloak and I didn't interrupt him as he held it in his hands and finally, he chuckled loudly with Gray jumping in fright with how loud and utterly exhilarated Waver sounded!

"Do I need to speak of the spiritual matters I see with Grey?" I asked dryly and Waver's face became slightly pinched before looking at Grey who huddled in on herself and refused to look at anyone.

And Waver shook his head with a weak smile before he straightened up and said seriously. "No that will be quite enough... But I suppose you have already shown some talent, so I shall spend a couple of favors to get you inserted into the Department of Spiritual Evocation. But remember, you will need allies so I highly suggest finding some people you can either pay to protect you or have some shared interests." He warned me solemnly.

From there our conversation moved onto lighter topics like him giving me a pass to the Clock Tower's more moderated section of their public library and then him telling me he would give me an answer to my inclusion to the Spirit Department by tommorrow.
