Chapter 21: Infiltration (1)

"Master! I'm I going to master swordsmanship soon?" Miyaguchi asked.

"Would you please stop asking me about teaching you swordsmanship," Tahara begged Miyaguchi as Juba and Samon began to laugh.

"By the way Tahara, where are we going," Juba asked.

"To the swordsman's village," Tahara replied.

"For what?" Samon asked.

"To retrieve something really important," Tahara replied as they continued walking.

Tahara and his group walked for 3 days until finally they reached their destination.

"We are here," Tahara told them.

Swordsman Village

Tahara entered the village and he saw everyone training with wooden swords.

"Incredible!" Juba said.

A kid was then training and was about to fall but was saved by Tahara.

"Thank you Mister!" the kid said as he continued with his training.

Tahara went to the inner part of the village and noticed the heads of the swordsmen village.

"Hola!" Tahara yelled.

The heads turned and saw Tahara and his group.

"Who are you?" one of the heads asked.

"My name is Tahara Kado and these were my group," Tahara said.

"Kado!" The head said as his jaw dropped down.

"You are..." the head said.

"You are that ancestor's son," he said.

"Huh!" Tahara said.

"What are you doing here anyway," Tahara asked.

"I'm here to ask you questions about the Kado," Tahara asked.

The head then asked Tahara and his group to follow him.

Tahara followed him as they entered the room and sat down.

"There was a man named Saido Kado, he was a swordsman and was said to be the strongest swordsman ever," the head explained.

"The Strongest!" Tahara said.

The head then pointed at the statue outside the room.

"That's Saido Kado," the head said.

Tahara looked outside and saw the statue of Saido Kado.

"He looks just like me?" Tahara said.

"What Rank was he?" Tahara asked.

"His Rank was unknown to many swordsmen," one of the heads said.

Tahara then sat down and asked the head of the village if they could train Miyaguchi.

"I've never seen a flame user been trained with swordsmanship," the head asked.

"Huh, how did you know that I was a flame user?" Miyaguchi asked.

"You are Miyaguchi Mikazaki a D-Rank flame user and the only one who possesses the 8 forms of flames," the elder explained.

"You are Juba Gen of the Gen family. A strong magic user and a D-Rank," the elder said.

"And lastly, Samon Kenji, the last generation of sound ability," he said.

"Wait, you said Miyaguchi possesses 8 forms of flames," Tahara asked.

"Indeed! She has only learned to master one form," the elder said.

"If she's able to master a second form I think she's good to learn swordsmanship," the elder explained.

"Anyway, for the past few weeks, I've been attacked by people who are said to be being to an organization called The Guild of Teal Arms," Tahara said.

"Oh? That is unfortunate," the elder said.

"It seems the organization is headed by a special boss that nobody wants to spill beans about," Tahara said.

"From the look of things, the rate at which the swordsmen in your village are rising is good," Tahara explained.

"For your group, you have Miyaguchi, Juba Samon as well as you," the elder said.

"And we have Shishido Maris, Ono Kunimichi, and Asai Yoshinaka," the elder let out.

"Moreover, last year we received an incident from a B-Rank magic user who was also a student of ours, Chadli Geulimja," the elder said.

"And now, the last generation of Kado and the flame user Miyaguchi is been targeted by The Guild of Teal Arms," the elder explained.

"By the way Miyaguchi, why didn't you help Tahara in the battle with the C-Rank magic user Chinen Kuemon," the elder said.

"Or you are just wasting your parents' potential?" he added.

"If you think that we are not here to help you then you are going to get beaten Tahara Kado," the elder said.

"Elder, the village is being attacked," one of the students said as he came rushing into the room.

Tahara and everyone came out as they saw 2 magic users and 13 other knights beaten up the students.

Tahara and Miyaguchi should go outside the village and help the others, Juba, Samon and my group will take care of the rest from inside.

Tahara and Miyaguchi agreed as they went outside the village.

"Misa they are outside," Darwin said.

"Nice!" Misa said as she used her magic to bring down a barrier.

"A barrier!" Tahara said.

Tahara then pulled out his swords ready to cut down the barrier but then it was negated with magic.

"Now then, time for action," Misa said as she quickly entered the village.
