In the blue star, Luis slowly opened his eyes and looked around.

He was still in the same position with his hand resting over his chest. He felt the rapid beating of his heart beneath his palm. He looked around and no one was there in the stairs. Only the broken bricks were on the floor.

Luis could feel the Lighting energy surging through him, crackling just beneath his skin. He now could discharge Void lightning from his body.

As many thoughts were running in his mind, his thoughts quickly turned to Lily.

He walked out of construction site with steady steps. He didn't want to stay in this place any longer.

This place had only caused him back pain and frustration. The pay was poor, and the memories of working here were ones he'd rather forget.

Luis made his way toward his home, each step heavier than the last as memories of the past flooded his mind.

Since the death of his parents, he had moved in with Lily, his girlfriend whose parents had also tragically passed away. But Lily had endured an even more terrible fate—her whole face was burned by fire.

Since that terrible day, Lily had become withdrawn, isolating herself from the outside world. Her once-bright confidence dimmed as insecurity took hold, and she became distant to everyone.

But Luis never left her side. He had been with her since the beginning and he wasn't about to let anything come between them now. Through all the pain and hardship, he stayed close to her offering comfort and support.

Feeling his care, Lily trusted him very deeply. However sometime she would suffer from Insecurity attack and would cry dadly.

She struggled when it came to others seeing her scarred face. Luis understood her hesitation, and it only made him more determined to protect her from the world's judgment.

He had tried everything to help her, begging the hunters' guild for assistance, but all he received were cold, dismissive stares from the awakeners. No one would help to someone they deemed unworthy.

He remembered the frustration gnawing at him. He felt powerless to help her. Surgery was also an expensive option, one that he couldn't afford.

Living together had drawn them closer, forging an unbreakable bond. He already regarded her as his closest person. Now that he has got such an ability, he will definitely heal her.

Luis quietly sneaked into his house, hoping to give Lily a surprise. 

The familiar scent of their shared space enveloped him as he made his way to the bedroom. Inside, he found her sitting at her desk, fingers flying over the keyboard of his laptop.

Luis was already a 1st stage warrior, so he quietly tip-toed behind her. Taking a glance, there were various lines of complicated codes.

With a playful grin, Luis wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him.

She yelled in surprise and showed resistance as she was caught. However, she noticed it was Luis who grabbed her.

She slapped the hand that was covering her waist lightly.

"Luis, don't startle me like that next time," she scolded as her voice had a mix of playful annoyance.

Luis grinned and rested his chin on her shoulder as he looked towards the laptop. 

"What are you doing? I never knew you knew coding?" Luis questioned in surprise as he looked at the complicated language on the laptop.

Lily's face softened when she heard this.

"You don't have to work so hard on the construction site now. I have awakened my talent. With this, I can earn money and support you,"

Lily said, her voice gentle as she caressed Luis' cheek, her eyes focused on the laptop screen. There was a tenderness in her touch, a quiet reassurance that everything was going to be okay.

"What awakened your power?" Luis looked at Lily in surprise.

"Yes! I awakened a Life Talent—Hacking. It's S-Level. I can hack into any machine in no time!" Lily replied, her smile radiating warmth to Luis.

Luis also smiled as he watched genuine joy return to her face. He hadn't seen her so happy since their parents died.

"Hehe, I awakened my Combat Talent today too. Lightning, S-Level." 

Luis grinned and shared the information. Lily's eyes lit up as she smiled more brightly hearing Luis, but her face quickly turned serious.

"What's happening? Why so serious all of a sudden?"

"It's serious," she said, her voice dropping. "The fifth wave of Aura is descending on Blue Star."

Luis's smile faded as he turned to her. He watched as Lily turned her attention back to her laptop, where news headlines were flashing rapidly across the screen.

"I hacked the Starcrack City Police Department and gathered all this information. Although it has only been half an hour, many people have already awakened," Lily explained, her fingers dancing over the keyboard.

'Is this the reason for my cheat awakening or is it coincidence?'

Aura Wave is both an opportunity and a disaster for humanity. During the previous four Aura Waves, the numbers of awakened humans significantly increased, but many creatures also appeared from the cracks.

Luis nodded, processing the news. However, the moment he heard "five years," a sense of tension eased from his face. He believed that in five years, he would be much stronger and have his own strong force to back him up.

With a playful smirk, he picked Lily up from her chair and carried her to the bed. He tossed her onto the mattress. She bounce lightly as she landed on the mattress.

"No need to be so serious. It is good that we awakened our power. Let me show you my new power."

Without waiting for a response, he jumped onto the bed beside her, his body sparking with a small amount of electricity.

Luis settled beside Lily, his playful grin softening as he gazed into her eyes.

He gently reached out, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering on her cheek. Although it was rough due to being burnt by fire, Luis didn't care.

Lily's face flushed slightly as she met his gaze, but she felt safe. Her heart raced not from fear but from the warmth of his touch.

With a smile, she reached for his hand, their fingers intertwining.

"Show me, then," she whispered, her voice carrying a blend of affection.

With a soft laugh, Luis let a tiny spark of electricity dance across his fingertips. The crackling energy sent a pleasant tingle up Lily's arm. She gasped in surprise, then giggled at the sensation, the earlier tension melting away.

Luis pulled her closer, his arm wrapping protectively around her.

The whole night passed as he affectionately showed Lily the power of electricity, especially discharged from a certain area. As a first stage warrior, he is very strong and can last for the whole night.

Each moment deepened their connection. Now, they both have awakened their own powers and can support each other, not like before where a monster wave could easily kill them.
