Would he be able to reach greatness this time? - Volume 1 is more focused in developing the bonds between the characters while volume 2 is where the story will truly begin. Oh and if you can't deal with an old man trapped in the body of a child (MC) and is raising other children but the children in turn, develops romantic feelings for the MC. Then this isn't for you. With shuddering breath, Zed responded.
'D-d-do it.... s-see if I care...!'
....Is what Zed wanted to say.
But Zed knows that right now wasn't the time to act foolishly brave. He had to back off and bow his head.
He couldn't afford to gamble with his own life and involve along with him.
And so... glaring at Yin Shui for the last time, Zed bowed his head.
"...I'll do it."
Hearing his response, Yin Shui released the suffocating and oppressive aura while a smile appeared on his face.
"Was it so hard to do as you're told?" Yin Shui remarked in a demeaning tone.
Zed only scoffed in respond as he picked himself up from the ground after the oppressive force was lifted.
Releasing an exhausted breath, he reached out for the spear and pulled it from the ground.
