June, a young beautiful woman with long black hair, and black eyes with some makeup, entered a blackspot. She had a black outfit with a sleeveless shirt that exposed her pale skin. Her hair was tied by a pin that had a skull shape. On her shoulder, there were a few rounded tattoos. She was holding a small rock as she lent from her pet, who had guided her here by the smell. This rock had been presented when The Ripped ripped a governor into shreds.
As a bounty hunter and a mercenary, she believed that this should be her dinner.
Entering inside, she walked to one of the prostitutes and pushed a few coins into her hand. "Have you seen here, a young man, with brown hair and blue eyes?"
"Sure, he is on the third floor. After he beat the first levels, he was invited to play up." The working girl put the money in her pouch and smiled, getting straight to the point. "I don't know for who you are looking, but that young man is hard to seduce."
June smirked. "But isn't impossible to tame."
She then got in and made her way to the upper floor. As a mercenary and a bounty hunter, she was known around. Some people came to greet her, and she passed along them. She was hunting now, and she needed to observe her prey.
Getting to the third floor, she occupied one of the many tables, facing a huge muscular man.
It was a game to pass time. Some man offers you a ridiculous amount of money to win over him while all you have to do is bet a little. It's a tempting game, but for most people, it's impossible to win…
"Hey, let's play." She said as she put her arm on the table, her eye turned slightly to the one next to her.
There were four guys, holding carts, and gambling. There was a man with a different look from the rest. He had the same features from the wanted board, but his look is different now with shorter hair and a healthier body.
It seems that he was smart enough to change his look.
Too bad for him that her pet,
"Hey, little lady, you're sure."
"Just play." She threw some coins. Her prey started moving at the same time, placing a few cards.
The huge bald man across her placed his arm, held her hand, and said. I'll break it then."
"Try your luck, tough boy." She said. Her foe started pushing, but she felt no resistance. It's not that it's the first time she faces someone like that. Big muscles, but all in vain. She pushed, and the man was barely able to hold himself. Mercenaries, because of the jobs they take, had almost unlocked their bodies' potential. Even if they didn't look huge, you can tell that they are strong.
"It seems that I win again." Said a voice from the next table. He was happy, really happy that he won. He took the silver pieces to his side with a large innocent smile on his face.
The others slammed the table, each with a different reaction as they turned their head.
"Come on…" June noticed her foe struggling. She twisted her hip and pushed her arm, slamming the man's arm to the table.
"You lost," she said, before taking the money.
The guy felt salty, obvious by the expression that took over his face. He seemed to be wanting to refute, but he didn't seem to be willing to take the risk either. "What a freak." He said. "I would've said usually you belong to the kitchen, but you aren't that classy." He turned to leave, only to feel a surge of pain coming from his back that made him roll on the ground. June took her whip back, and the bald guy started running. She sighed and turned her face. It wasn't unusual for her to meet someone salty like that dude. Well, she got the money, and the night is still long.
Turning her head to see how The Ripper is going to deal with the next problem — winning without stop, she decided to observe if he is cheating.
Raoh was sitting there, biting on some straw, and playing. He was so focused, and she wasn't the only one to observe if he was cheating.
"You're cheating, some cards are here." Raoh extended his hand in front of him and held the guy's arm, taking some carts out.
The guy felt offended, jumped back, and said. "How dare you. Everyone knows me here as a fair player. You hid the cards and threw them to take them from my arms."
The others nodded, and all glared at Raoh, who is a stranger.
June half closed her eyes. She knew that these guys are cheating after they couldn't win over one stranger. And since they seem to know each other, it's obvious they will gang up on the stranger, to take their money back.
"Don't care about your explanation, you are going to pay." Raoh, without taking his foe's words as a threat, took the pieces to his side, opened his push, which was heavy snow, and poured them in.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" the cheater took a knife from his pocket.
"Sit down," Raoh said with a calm voice. "I don't threat twice."
"Oh yeah, make me." He said as he pointed the knife at Raoh's face.
The next second, Raoh's held the wrist of the man, and with some applied force, he twisted the wrist and broke it.
The cheater rolled on the ground and screamed from the pain.
The others seemed to be offended, and they took their swords.
People across this flour started to gather around them.
'This is what happened, when you, as a lonely guy, enter a place where mercenaries live. You should have known that when you face one, you face their friends… what a waste. I should offer him a hand, I don't want my bounty to be handed to someone else.'
Offering a hand now and ambushing him later seemed to be a good plan.
Raoh slammed his hands on the table and stood up. "And here I wanted to take it the hard way. Guess I should have taken the easier way for your money."
Raising both of his fists while facing a group of guys with weapons, he smirked.
"Hey! Over here!" June yelled as she ran toward the window and gestured to him to jump after her.
Raoh gave her a glance, their eyes met for a second. He turned his eyes and started jogging in his place as he raised his fists.
'Is he deaf?' she wondered.
