Author : Mortals against gods

Have you ever questioned your existence? maybe we are just characters in a story or frankly just a spark between worlds of fiction. Daniel questioned himself constantly on the truth behind creation, ever since the uncanny scar had been imprinted on his life. Revenge wasn't an option, because the perpetrator behind all of it was far greater than anyone. He was the Author, and Daniel was simply a character within his story. A simple life was all he wanted, but reality had a different path for him. His world would later collide with another, bringing forth an apocalypse filled with suffering. His question had reached an abrupt end, and his morale filled with dents of revenge. He only thought of one thing, and I suppose I would serve it as a question. What if you had to go against the plot? What if you had to battle the creator of your world for peace?. There are many more to it, but I promise. This story answers it all.

A weird way to make friends

"It seems an interesting bud has blossomed into a raging flower. Who knew Hishorama Gakuin high had a wolf within its sheep"

A boy at the age of 17 sat in pride amongst a group of 30. Each student either had their uniforms untucked or their collars loosened.

" It's only proper that the head of wolves greets the newborn, is it not??"

"Yes it is!!!", the group responded in high morale.

Another boy beside him nodded in agreement. His green hair was distinct from his peers, and his ear piercings showed his stand within the group.

" We can't fall back on this. Oi Muichiro!"

A young lad walked out from the group with a bat on his shoulder. He clenched his fists tightly and stood concerning his vice leader.

" Vice leader. ", Muichiro responded in a calm voice.

" How's the morale for the upcoming fight", the green-haired boy asked.

Muichiro turned to his peers and shrugged. His eyes lit with rage and tranquility, feeding off the calm area with a stern look.

" Let's get this over with lads. Shudo high will always stand on top!!", Muichiro bawled in bravery.

A roar of battle spiraled from the voices of the delinquents, echoing through the benevolent streets of Hiroshima. The leader stood in perfect morale and walked through his minions to the other side.

A group of delinquents from a neighboring school had also appeared, holding bats and broken bottles for the big fight that stirred.

The green-haired boy cracked his knuckles and took a step forward, standing beside his leader with a stern look.

" Kagashi, let's finish up with this before supper.", the leader spoke in a calm voice.

" Surely Akaza. You never loved the food cold", Kagoshima responded with a smile of desperation.

The raging group of delinquents from the neighboring school run crazily towards the Shufo high delinquents. Who knew how crazy the battles of Shudo High were?

Surely not the neighboring school, because Shudo High stood as one of the top five schools in the world of delinquents.

Their raging pulses were nothing to joke about, and each fighter was strong enough to beat a group of 5 into a pulp. Shudo high followed their lead into the battle and entrusted their backs unto their fastened hopes.

They barged with might and pure aggression, tearing off the very banner of pride the neighboring school had. All this had spiraled from a greed for power.

The neighboring school wanted power, and the easiest path was to first conquer the ones within their vicinity. They raged on with hopes of destroying Shudo high, but their hopes turned into mere dreams.

A cub can never defeat an adult wolf. That was the basic law of the world, yet these cubs bared their tiny fangs towards a predecessor.

Their futile efforts could never reach the high throne of shudo, just 30 boys were enough to overthrow a raging number of 150. The battle continued for an hour and ended after the next 26 minutes.

The neighboring school had met its senile end. The wolf had torn off the limbs of the cub to serve as a warning. An image of fear filled their memories, for they had never seen anyone fight like that.

However, there was a huge problem. John seemed to have passed the wrong alley and discovered the scene at its close. He was just a passerby who wanted to go home but had infiltrated a battle out of bad luck.

His attire was misleading as he was also from the neighboring school, but he did not care about the world of delinquents.

John glanced around and continued with his stroll. He walked over the endless bodies of the delinquents, in an attempt to use the shorter path to the house.

A delinquent from Shudo who had recently battled rushed towards John with a bat in an attempt to crush him, but found his head bashed into the ground with a strong punch.

"Why are you coming at me? I have no time for games!", John grinned in anger.

The remaining 28 ran towards John in pairs, hoping to bring him down. John scoffed at them, with his anger heightening.

He clenched his fist and parried the first guy, smashing his fists through the guy's face. This broke the delinquent's nose and enraged the incoming delinquent.

A sharp turn was made by John, after which he grabbed the delinquent's arm and threw him off balance. A series of punches followed afterward, completely knocking out the delinquent.

John looked unfazed at the scene before him and continued walking. He had no care for little games and only thought of sleeping after a rough day in class.

The rest of the delinquents approach him in rage, throwing punches and kicks but none worked as they dreamed.

A total of 28 high-end delinquents were utterly butchered. They had fought with the wrong guy and ended up punished.

John continued walking towards the other three and stood before them without flinching. Muichiro smirked in high hopes, for it had been long since he fought someone on equal footing.

He attempted to throw a jab, but a swift punch was batted through his jaw. This dropped him to his knees, stunning him as his mind tried to contemplate the situation.

Akaza grinned at the thought of losing and tightened his grip. He let out a breath of uneasiness because the image of John in his mind was that of a monster.

Kagashi ran towards John with a swift kick. He fainted with a direct kick and stuck from above to mack the tip of John's head.

John leaped backward from seeing the pattern and calmed his nerves. He dropped his bag on the ground and rather sped towards them.

Akaza moved in with pace and lifted his arms to form a shield to protect Kagashi. The impact from John's fists showed raw power and threw Akaza off his feet.

Akaza stood back up and guarded his face once more, his heart pummeled hastily. The beast he had been afraid of had once bared its fangs towards him.

To Akaza, the expression in his subtle mind was that of death. His hand shook from desperation to run, but his pride cemented his feet.

Kagashi ran towards John and struck a roundhouse kick at him. It smashed through John's jaw and enraged the settling storms within him.

John spat out the blood from that kick and smashed a direct punch with condensed muscle energy through Tadashi's ribs. This threw Tadashi off his feet into the air, as he made a fall a few metres away.

Akaza's fear outpaced his bravery. He had the instinct of a beast, hence his instincts were never wrong.

* We shouldn't have ever crossed this boy*, Akaza screamed endlessly within his thoughts.

The outer appearance of John was that of a 12-year-old, but the power within his fists was far more than that.

John was born with an inherent talent for strength and endurance, explaining why he was so thick in the brain.

Akaza threw a punch and sharply squatted to avoid a direct punch from John, but his efforts were to no avail.

John did not need mind games, he solely relied on his fists. So he struck a direct punch downwards to the head of Akaza, throwing him off balance to the ground.

Akaza rose again and lifted his arms to form a shield. His sight was blurry, but his pride stayed fastened. This caught the attention of John and changed his mood in an instant.

" You didn't fall from my punch. You are strong! " John replied with a bright smile.

Akaza stood confused as John offered a hand to him. His thoughts run haphazardly within his mind, as he contemplated on whether it was a trap.

John looked across and saw the countless bodies of unconscious high school students. His mood dampened at the thought of weakness, but he believed Akaza would be a good friend.

" Why don't I join your ranks? Let's be friends."

I'm still correcting the grammatical errors within the chapters as my schedule might have lessened the pace. However, you can suggest your feelings and ideas on anything. I'd always be active with my readers ^^
