Swallowing the beast fire

In the night deep within the forest, there is a bonfire in which the meat is being roasted and three people are sitting surrounding the fire while eating. These three are Xiu Luo, the Xu clan elder and the Burning flame immortal sect disciple Xu Mei.

Xiu Luo is enjoying his appetite while the other are staring at him as they would have killed him if their eyes can kill the latter. Finally the silence was broken by Xiu Luo.

"Elder why is the the core is not breaking or will it require something to be broken." Xiu Luo asked Elder Xu as he picked up the core from the ground which was kept beside him.

"Well there is no specific time for the breaking of the core, sometimes it will take few minutes some time hours or days or month or years altogether , it depends on the opportunity. " the elder said while looking at the red core in Xiu Luo's palm.

"Elder is there any other way." Hearing this Xiu Luo frowned because he doesn't have time to stay here for months or years

"What was that fire that had swallowed my salamander fiend beast fire?" This time the elder questioned the latter instead of answering.

"Hey girl have you ever tasted the human meat." Xiu Luo asked to Xu Mei as he is looking to the elder while licking his lips. His meaning is clear if Elder Xu dare to think about his fire he won't hesitate to kill the latter.

"Eeek.." Xu Mei throwed the meat peice which she has been eating and staring at Xiu Luo in a horror.

"Kukh.."the elder also got terrified as he saw the expression of Xiu Luo.

"Boy I am saying that there is another method which is with the higher fire level we could break the core so that's why i am asking and I have no intention of coveting your treasure." Elder Xu replied quickly fearing that the latter will really kill him and roast hin like the fire lion.

"Oh elder I was just teasing." Xiu Luo said while laughing.

"Elder do you really think of me as a demon that I will kill and eat my own elder." Xiu Luo said with serious expression as if he is interrogating the latter.

'Your really threatened me, but now you are telling you are just teasing you demon bastard. And who the hell is your elder' the elder urged to scold the latter but swallowed his words.

"No, my dear boy won't tell me like that." Elder Xu said as his mouth is twitching back and forth, he even used dear word for the latter.

"Yes I know my dear elder knows me better." Xiu Luo said heartily. Hearing this the elder rally have an urge to smash that face.

And the girl sat down as she had already left hope.

Xiu Luo brought out the golden fire in his palm. Both Elder Xu and girl's expression changed seeing this, their previous horrified terror feeling gone in an instance but there was a surprise on their faces.

"Golden fire " both of them said in unison as they were surprised.

"Little one, you heard the elder if you want to become strong then break this core." Xiu Luo said to the golden fire as he pointed to the fire lion core.

Seeing the core the golden fire start rotating around Xiu Luo as it was excited. Then it moved to the core and start burning it, and in less than a minute the three of them heard the cracking voice. Yes the core was cracking.

Boom

The core was broken and the scarlet flame was released from it. First the scarlet flame took the shape of fire lion but it is too small. And charged towards the golden fire as it want swallow it and upgrade itself.

But it choosen the wrong opponent. The golden flame spread vast and looks like fire ball and when the scarlet lion fire comes to it, it open a small space like a moth and swllowed the latter. And after some minute it return back to small flame shape and jumping in front of Xiu Luo like it want to be praised.

But Xiu Luo didn't praised the latter and he asked.

"Did you increase your level?" Xiu Luo asked as he extended his palm and the golden fire sat on his palm while shaking it's head

"You didn't raise your level, you pig you had swallowed two two beast fire , but you are still beast fire level." Xiu Luo shouted in shock as he looked towards the latter.

The golden fire pouted on his hand like a little baby. Seeing this Xiu Luo coughed.

"Cough ... hmm its alright you can swallow many fires you want." Xiu Luo said as he crassed the golden fire and latter started jumping again.

Both Elder and Xu Mei's expressions are changing continuously while watching the golden fire and Xiu Luo.

"Boy your golden fire... is it really at the beast fire level after swallowing two beast fire just now." Elder Xu asked in surprise because the golden fire had swallowed his salamander feind beast fire and the scarlet lion beast fire but the later said it stayed at the beast fire level. Who won't be surprise after hearing this.

"Yes elder it says that." Xiu Luo replied honestly by showing his palm where the golden fire is jumping up and down.

"Hmm...interesting." Elder Xu muttered as there is greed in his eyes as he looked to the golden fire. But he is not only one who is looking to the golden fire with greed. The girl is also looking at the golden fire with greed as she want to snatch it and keep it with her.

Xiu Luo didn't know about this as he can't see their expression.

"Elder we should leave the forest because my work is done here. Hey girl lead us outside the forest." Xiu Luo ordered Xu Mei as he can't see the diection. And Xu Mei moved and started walking and Elder Xu is walking limply after her and Xiu Luo is behind them as he spread his spirit sense range.

Three of them walked in the forest silently and no one spoke past two days. Then suddenly Xiu Luo broke the silence.

"Hey girl how much time it will take to go out." Xiu Luo asked Xu Mei.

"With this speed it will take two hours." Elder Xu said instead of girl.

"Ha... elder I am hungry lets eat something before we go out of the forest." Xiu Luo said as he removed the left meat from the storage bag and passed two big pieces to Elder Xu and Xu Mei.

Elder Xu took it and start eating, he was crippled so he have to supplement some energy from somewhere. But Xu Mei didn't take as looking at the the meet in disgust.

"You are going to eat this, this two days before waste meat." Xu Mei said in disgust while looking at Xiu Luo and elder Xu who are eating.

"Hey girl if you don't want to eat it then don't eat it but if you dare say the food is waste then I will change my mind and kill you here." Xiu Luo said in a deep voice as he faced the girl. Seeing his face the girl took two steps backward and then stayed silent.

Then Xiu Luo said something to the elder which left the elder in shocked.

"Elder I heard that your Xu clan has a cultivation method called blood swallowing art." Hearing this Elder Xu was shocked.

"Boy where did you heard this, you should not believe in the rumors." Elder Xu replied without showing change in his tone as Xiu Luo can't see his expression he sighed in relief.

Xiu Luo didn't replied but he took out Elder's storage bag and searched for scrolls as he took out five to six scrolls and then called Xu Mei. And Xu Mei came to him as ordered.

"Read the heading." Xiu Luo said coldly as he throwed the one scroll to Xu Mei as he can't see the content.

"Void splitting sword strike." Xu Mei replied as she was about say the content Xiu Luo replied.

"Give it back" Xu Mei gave back the scroll and Xiu Luo stored it into the storage bag and thowed the the second scroll. Like this the process continued till fourth scroll.

"Blood swallowing art." Xu Mei read rhe heading and was about to pass the scroll like before but Xiu Luo told her to continue as he store the remaining scrolls in the storage bag.

"Boy its just a technique and we used the blood of the beast monsters to cultivate it so what's wrong with it." The elder said awkwardly as his lies were found.

"Then why did you told that these are just rumors, are you trying to hide something." Xiu Luo said in a serious tone, his playfulness vanished as he said.

"Boy everyone has secrets they don't want to tell, and this is our sect cultivation method so how can I say it to the outsiders." What the elder said is right and Xiu Luo can't refute the words and stayed silent.

Seeing Xiu Luo silent Elder Xu showed happy expression for the first time after encountering Xiu Luo may be elder want to see Xiu Luo loosing the argument.
