Imperial hall

In the imperil hall the Empress, prime minister, General Wei , Bo Chang and five Xu clan members are present.

The empress came down from the throne, now she stood up and the empress looks like a teenage as her height is of a teenage girl but quite mature as well due to her imposing and cold attitude.

She came down and sat on one of the seat which is for minsters.

"General Bo you are the person who had written the cotent on the letter, so you know what that means." The empress said as she was asking Bo Chang about seriousness of the content. And the latter nodded.

"I hope you didn't said it to anyone about it." The empress said in a deep tone.

"You majesty I had not said to anyone." Bo Chang said firmly.

"Then till nine days their protection will be under your care, without my permission you won't allow anyone to meet them." The empress said as she pointed the Xu clan members.

"Yes, I will carry out your majesty's orders." Bo Chang bowed again and took away the five of them.

General Wei had a puzzle expression on his face as why her majesty told the latter to protect them. But before he could ask the prime minister passed the letter to him. And general Wei start reading the content.

"'The culprit for the disappearance of your citizens is Xu clan which is near the...., and the strongest person in Xu clan is their patriarch and he has the cultivation base of peak core formation realm but it is I inquired and I can't determine whether it is true or false. But the important point is that the Xu clan is practicing a art called the blood swallowing art and they are using your empire citizens to improve their cultivation bases and burning flame immortal sect had send their two disciples to search for the culprit but they were weak and got killed by the Xu clan.

These five members were abducting and sending your people to the Xu clan in batches and the next batch they were going to send is after ten days and when you read this letter it may be nine days. So go and inform nearest sect and bring that scroll with you to show the evidence and don't kill these people, because if they die now, their jade cards will be broken which is connected with their lifes, if they die , the Xu clan may send someone and may even harm your empire so when you see the letter leave immediately to the nearest sect and deal with the Xu clan."

After reading this General Wei frowned and is getting angry at Xu clan.

"Your majesty if I leave now I will be able to reach the burning flame immortal sect within six days and those immortals can deal with the Xu clan. Your majesty give me your orders." General Wei hastily said as he didn't want to waste a single second.

"All right , take this scroll with you." The empress said as she passed the scroll.

Then only the empress and the prime minister were left.

"Teacher what do you think about this Immortal fairy Xiu Luo?" The empress asked looking to prime minister.

"As you said we mortals can't comprehend the immortals."

"Haah..." a deep sigh left from the empress.

"Teacher go and take rest when General Wei come back we will excecute the captives." Empress said as she also started walking.

Prime minister just watched the empress back. And a deep sigh escaped from his mouth and then he also left the imperial hall.

After nine days.

General Wei returned back to the imperial palace with the news of destruction of Xu clan and then the empress anounced that she will execute the kidnappers who had abducted and kill the empire ccitizens.

Next day the five members were brought to the execution ground and all the citizens came to see the execution.

The crowds were shouting at the kidnapperss. In the crowd there were many people who had lost their loved ones, friends, families and many children had became orphans. All the crowd were shouting and cursing at five of them.

But the five of them were like puppets. They were bound by the chains, in nine days they were tortured by Bo Chang and the soldiers. The empress ordered not to kill them but it doesn't means they should not be touch. Without their cultivation they were no different from the mortals except for thick skin. And for thick skin people you should torture more than normal.

Then a big beautiful chariot came at the execution ground, then empress came down from the chariot as she wore a red robe and a veil on her face, only her cold black eyes could be visible.

Seeing the empress came, the crowd started praising the latter. Then empress went on the stone platform where the execution will take place. The empress came front facing the crowd.

"Esteemed citizens of the Xia Empire I the Empress Xia stand before you today with grief and sorrow. The reason for the grief and sorrow is the disappearance of our empire citizen." The empress said with the greif expression.

"And with great difficulty we managed to find the cause the disappearance of our citizens with the help of a immortal fairy which we are greatly indebted and today is the day when we kill the people who had harmed our empire citizen." Then the empress said as she pointed to the five members.

"Today I Empress Xia will execute these people so that no one will again show hostility to our empire." The empress said coldly as she removed the sword from the sheath which the General Wei had passed to her. Then Empress came to the five of them and then raised the sword and cut down the heads of five people.

From the look of it the empress look like a cold hearted person as she cut the heads without hesitation. Then she look to the sword which is covered in blood and muttered.

"Luo Changsheng one day you will also die like them in my hand." No one heard the empress except prime minister and the General Wei. After hearing what the empress muttered both of them had complicated expression but stayed silent.

Then crowd started shouting for the empress.

"Love live the empress."

Long live the empire."...

In imperial palace, the empress sat on her throne and the prime minister and the General Wei were standing down to the platform.

"Prime minister, General Wei I had decided to go to immortal world and start cultivating." The empress said. Hearing this both of them had shocked expression.

"Your majesty do you still want to take revenge." The prime minister said as he faced to the Empress.

"Untill I killed the traitor my heart won't be calm." The empress replied coldly.

"Your majesty I will try to find him if you..." The general Wei want to say something but he was stopped by the prime minister.

"Your majesty, what about the empire after you go? " The prime minister said in a concerned expression.

"Prime minister you will become the emperor after I leave for Immortal world." The empress replied.

Both the General Wei and prime minister became silent.

"If you don't have anything to say you should go and prepare for next emperor ceremony and after I announce the news to the public I will leave to the immortal world secretly." The empress said as she had made up her mind.

"Your majesty have you decided where you will go to the immortal world." The general wei asked in a concerned voice.

"I had already decided." The empress replied but she didn't gave the details.

Next day there is an uproar in the empire by the news.

The news of the Empress abdicating her position gave the shock to the citizens but then there is another news that the prime minister is going to be next emperor. Then the citizens became happy.

Outside the boundaries of empire one girl was sitting was looking at the Xia Empire while sitting on the horse. The girl wore ordinary white cloths and a veil covering her face.

"Immortal Xiu Luo may we meet in the immortal world."

"Farewell empire." The girl is none other than the empress. And the empress left the empire riding a horse as she is travelling a journey from mortal world to the immortal world.
