The talk (Part 2)

"Sooo, you had them waiting behind this door all this time waiting for your signal."

"Yes, who doesn't like a dramatic reveal."

"For a so-called god, you are childish.'

Hahaha, of course, I came here to enjoy myself. Anyway, this is Bayek, his wife Aya, and final in black Evie." Everyone nodded in the mention of their name.

"What. now you need backup."

"Not really, I can protect this place by myself but I got stuff to take care of. so they are going to take over my job of protecting this place."

"Elaborate."

"You used to do mercenary work to provide for the orphanage but now that you stop."

"Wait I didn't stop, I just took a little break."

Sigh with your current skill is best you stay put

You speak like I haven't been doing this a while

"Can you evade a bullet? can you cut one in two?"

"…"

"As I said before, this is the start of a new era and the little skill you currently possessed will amount to nothing.��

"But…"

"Trust me, even me, with all the cool ability I have with one mistake I will fall dead. Plus with me leaving for a while the kid will need a familiar face."

"You're really leaving."

"Yeah, that's why I brought them here."

"How powerful are they?" she asked skeptically.

"Good enough that in a three vs one I will most probably die."

"What are you leaving for?"

"...you are not going to try to stop me?"

"God damn, it just answer the question, nothing I will say will stop you."

Equipping the spear and returning to his normal form Alex proceeded to sit down. "You could at least try. Anyway, the reason I am leaving is to set a few things in place to prepare me for the upcoming invasion and find a way to integrate myself in the underworld as an assassin.

"Why?"

"For the money, of course, the second most unusual thing after power can be said to be money. Plus I want to see how far I am going to make."

"Do you need me to help you with anything?'

"Yeah, can you put me in contact with your...contact I plan to start by replacing, also take care of the kid during my absence."

Alex knew full yell that if he wanted to be a powerhouse in this world he had to act early. After putting a few things in his bag. Alex walked out of the orphanage compound and walked to a dark alley that wasn't far away. Deep inside it was a car covered by some sheet. Pulling it off it revealed a Dodge Challenger, it was the car that...he had gained from the previous attacker.

Sitting inside he placed his backpack on the seat next to him. Pulling the spear out he stared at it, looking at its design. "It seems that we are going to be together for a while." With a thought, he grew up and took the appearance of Alexios. He then switched to his secondary weapon which was his fist to make the spear disappear, as holding such a spear in the car wasn't really smart.

Going through his bag he pulled out a piece of paper. On it was the number and location of Mary's contact. Pulling his second phone out of his bag he made a quick call and in Alexios' voice, he presented himself.

"The name is Creed, her replacement."

"Yeah she warned me about you but as much as she praises you we don't know each other so you are going to have to prove yourself."

"I am listening."

"There is a corrupt cop that got involved and something that was way over his head. I am not going to tell you all the details on the phone. I will send you a document. To put in simple words I need you to kill him without leaving a trace behind."

"...You will hear from me in a few hours." Ending the call he put the phone back in the bag.

"First I need a startup fund for the upcoming expenses," he said as he spun a golden coin in between his fingers which were commonly known in Alexios world as Drachmae.

So before I progress I need to say a few things. As much as I like to write chapters, read comments, and review I have to slow down a bit now that college started for me. So the more support a story gets the more I will try to write a chapter. The story with the most comments gets updated first.
