First Step (Part 3)

*Ding*

The clear sound of the elevator ring resounded through the room as the door open, No wasting any time Mark quickly got in while signaling Alex to get in

"Quick get in."

As soon as Alex got in Mark pressed the bottom for the seven-floor and as the door closed he let out a sigh of relief.

"Why do you seem so worried?" Alex ask while smiling

"If you guys had fought, it would have ended badly for us. Those sons of bitches all have guns and I know they are not scared of using them."

"So…"

"So they would have killed us."

"Hahaha." Upon hearing Mark's words Alex started to laugh while holding his belly.

The fuck so funny.

Holding a hand up to tell Mark to wait Alex was trying his hardest to stop laughing. As the elevator door opens and they walk you Alex could barely maintain his composure" Listen I know we just started working together and you know nothing about me but I guarantee you that if I had fought them they would have been all dead.

"Stop bragging the not like those thugs you fight before plus they have backups." To this Alex let out another laugh angering Mark more.

Anyway here is my room. Upon opening a dog quickly run out in job toward Mark at first he was barking of happiness now that his owner had return b8t when he discovers Alex he started growling

"Sorry about that, this is my dog, Max." Mark said as he picked her up to stop her from attacking Alex ."She doesn't like new people.

"It's alright," Alex answered as he walked in. Looking around the room he could see that it was messy. Not paying attention to that he walked to the sofa while pushing a few things away and sat down.

Taking off his helmet he placed it on the table next to him and then proceeded to take a sip of the beer.

"In this bag, there is around 50K. Do what you must."

As he sat there watching TV while Mark's voice resounded in the background as he was marking a few phone calls Alex felt his phone vibrate. Taking it out he discovered that he had received a text from Kassandra opening it up he was greeted with a bloody decapitated head.

"Damn," he said as he quickly got off the application before he could say anything he received a call.

"Give me some warning before you send me those types of stuff!" Those were his first words upon answering.

"Yeah, Yeah I am done with the mission."

"….You not going to apologies"

"Sorry."

"Anyway, great job…"

"Are you not going to acknowledge my apolo..".

"Right now I am at Mark place."

"Mark?"

"You remember him right. He is the kid that made your papers back then anyway I will send you the address also on your way here can you get me a pizza."

"..."

"Also get something for yourself I will give you the money later."

"…"

"Hello, Hello" Looking at his pho0ne screen he discovered that She had hung up.

"Yo mark keep working hard we got a pizza coming."

"Hell yeah!"

An hour later

*Ring ring*

Opening his eyes while still, sleepy Alex answers the phone.

"This is Alex."

"Open the damn door I am here

"Oh yeah got it " He hung up the phone while quickly getting up. Walking to the door he opened it.

"Finally," she said as she walked in.
