The Lock Family

Eventually, Lena and Adonis woke up. They didn't talk about last night; instead, Lena had the idea that they all have a bath together to 'conserve time.' No, they didn't have sex in the bathroom.

Juniper finally brought up the topic of last night, and Adonis said they should talk about it after the match today. They all agreed.

Their third-match opponent would be the Tiger Palace Sect. This sect was known for its rigorous training and belief that whether you're trash or a genius, with hard work, you'll be able to reach the pinnacle of power. They were a mid-sized Sect with a Core disciple in Ascent Stage 1-Spark' the rest were in Refinement Stage 5-Spark. Although the rest were working on reaching their limit before becoming Ascent Stage, they were stronger than average cultivators of the same level.

The Green Valley Sect wasn't lacking in strong cultivators either, and they had yet to show 3 of their disciples, which were all strong in their own right.

Unfortunately, when it came to leave for Glory's Home, 2 of the three hidden disciples didn't come out of their rooms. Juniper and Lena didn't come out of their rooms and locked their doors, the Sect Leader contemplated breaking their doors, but then she would have to pay the hotel for damages. Due to time constraints, the team left for the tournament without them.

They reached in time and now had to face an 8-10 match.

Here's how it went: the Green Valley Sect needed to send two of the three extras to defeat one of the Lion Temple's disciples, and the last extra was sent to weaken the next disciple so that Jewel could easily defeat them. Jewel was able to take down two other disciples of the Lion Temple, Madeline was then sent out and took out another 2, and Klein was able to defeat 1.

Mila was sent out, and Lion Temple correctly sent out their Ascent Stage disciple. Mila was more talented than the other disciple' she took them out without going into Blood Earth Form but grew tired since she had only recently gained a spark and wasn't used to the amount of power she exerted. To defeat the next disciple, she went into Blood Earth Form and quickly defeated them; she retreated as she was too tired.

Now the Green Valley team had no choice but to send out Adonis Lock to take out the last disciple of Lion Temple.

In the Lock Families Vip Suite,

"*Yawn* As usual, the fights are average..."

A girl with white hair and red eyes said; she had a thick black dress on, making her look like a gothic doll.

"Fourth Sister, please refrain from complaining."

A woman with pink hair and red eyes said; she wore a dark regal suit with golden pins and jewelry.

"Well, it's true, and it doesn't look like you're enjoying this any more than I am, first sister. I mean, third brother and third sister didn't even show up."

"I will talk with them later, but be quiet now." The first sister said with a serious tone.

The fourth sister merely looked away and focused on the Arena with an annoyed expression.

But that annoyed look cleared up and was replaced with a mischievous one.

"Well, look who came up from the garbage pile they were sent to, our very own trash brother!" The fourth sister said with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Fourth Sister, have you already forgotten to shut up..."

A man with neat red hair and black eyes said in a low voice; he wore a bright regal suit ordained with gold jewelry.

The fourth sister slightly flinched at his voice' but maintained her composure.

"Sorry, but I'm just saying what's on all our minds, first brother."

"You obviously don't know us well if you think that." The first brother said with an apathetic tone.

The fourth sister became irritated and said "C'mon, we already know he has no talent, he doesn't even have an affinity with any element! That sect probably gave him a spot on their team because they had no one else to fill the spot or he begged to-" Before the fourth sister finished talking, another man interrupted her.

"He's changed."

A man with long pitch-black hair and red eyes said in a calm voice; he wore completely black hanfu robes.

"He has fire...as large as the sun."

The fourth sister was confused by what he said.

"What do you mean by that, second brother?"

Instead of answering his sister, the second brother looked to his right, past the first brother, and to the man next to him.

"What do you think, father?"

In the middle of the siblings sat a man with long fiery hair and red eyes; he wore a gorgeous regal suit with golden embroidery along its cuffs and vest and had a long noble cape. He looked as if he was the king of the empire, but; he was actually the head of the Lock family and the Lock sibling's father.

His name was Balthasar Lock and he had a look of complete apathy.

However, that changed when he saw Adonis looking at their suite and waving his hand with a smile of genuine happiness. Although he may look unaffected by this, if you look deeply into his eyes, you would see a glint of sadness.

The father didn't answer and the sibling looked back at the arena, seeing Adonis's wave, the older siblings had a slight look of regret or worry. The fourth sister sneered at this.

'Let's see how you make a fool of yourself, fifth brother.'
