Liang's sharp, hazel eyes flickered with a mixture of cunning and amusement as his gaze shifted between the looming figures cloaked in black hoods. The dim light in the cavern danced off his unfathomable orbs, giving them an ethereal quality. A sly smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
"Brotherhood, you say?" He chuckled mockingly, his voice laced with disdain. "Do you truly believe that such a trivial affiliation holds any significance for me?"
The leader's eyes widened in a mixture of disbelief and rage, the fire within them reflecting his centuries of existence. Lines of age and experience etched deep into his weathered face, but they did little to hide the shock he felt.
