Boss Battle 2

Another round of arrows flies toward Jojo at an extreme speed. She forcefully swallowed the blood in her mouth and push herself up and wave her sword quickly.

"Laka, go and support Jojo" Emma commanded. He had already expected such a scenario to happen. He looked at the big boss and saw it glancing at the battle leisurely.

'We need to end this quickly. The battle with the boss won't be easy.' He thought.

He deflected a couple of arrows and step forward, closing the distance. Meanwhile, Laka carried beside Jojo and send a series of fire attack toward the 3-string cobras. Hence, the 3-string cobras hissed.

Though, Laka's attack wasn't as powerful as the others. Yet the flames coursed the snakes to uncomfortable. Maya cast a healing spell on Jojo, restoring a bit of her lost HP.

Mata on the other hand was in a difficult position. She was shuffling through the arrow while some hit her, but she didn't dare to stop. She bit her lips and rushed toward the 3-string cobras and send a powerful attack.

A couple of cobras stumbled back, glaring at the location where the attack came from. Yet, Mata had long gone, changing her location. But just as she appeared; three powerful arrows accosted her.

The attack flung her backward with blood spreading out from her mouth. She looked at her stats and shivered. 'I need to be careful.'

'It's about time.' Emma had plans.

He looked at the HP of the cobra and a sharp glowed appeared in his pupil. He had been passive in the battle, but it got to change now.

"Revolving Spear Attack" Emma jumped forward and swing his spear. The crimson flashed in the room, blinking toward the 3-string cobras.

"Stunts!" He muttered.

"Don't hold anything back, attack now." He shouted.

Attack came on both side. The cobras hissed. They wanted to retaliate, but the stunt effect was still in play. Emma arrived a couple of feet from the cobra's flashlight came from his weapon.

A furious hiss came from the midsts of the chaos from the attack. Two fiery eyes blinked with long fangs. Only a single 3-string cobra survive from the onslaught. The cobras prepared to attack when a wisp of black smoke appeared behind it.

Mata exhaled the pent off stress and disappeared into a wisp of smoke. She appeared beside Emma, staring at the big boss.

The bewitching Olga, various eyes, moved in their socket. The bewitching could believe what just happened. Its minion were winning the battle, but how could they just die all of a sudden.

Suddenly, a creepy sound spread throughout the room. An invisible attack assaulted Emma and his team consciousness. At once the team found themselves in another plane different from where they were.

Emma looked at his surrounding but couldn't find his teammates.

"Zeus."

But no reply came from Zeus. He pursed his lips and looked at the creepy forest and darkness surrounding him. Suddenly, a series of beast attacked him from both sides.

At once, Emma didn't dillydally, he waves his spears and attack the beast. At the beginning, he was having upper hand in the battle. Yet, as the battle continue; he began to sustain injury.

"Where the hell is this place?" He cried.

"Zeus! Zeus!" He shouted, but no response.

Emma chose one direction and sprint with his best speed. But no matter how, he tried to escape from the encampment. The beast won't let him.

'Since I can't escape from you. I will fight you then.' He thought and stop running and clashed with the beast.

A deep cut appeared on his chest and pass to his back. He stumbled backward and puking blood. His face ashen. His breathing became erratic. He used his spear to support himself from falling.

Taking a deep breath, he avoids a deadly attack and swing his spear, sending a couple of beast flying. He bit his tongue and rushed toward the beast and continue to fight them. Every swing of his attack, his injury worsen, and his head became heavy and dizzy.

Emma HP dropped every second, blood gushed out from the corner of his mouth. His face whitened, and he staggered while waving his spear at nothing.

Suddenly, a jot of electric passed through Emma body. He shook vehemently and fall on his kneel, puking blood. His chest rise and fall. He blinked continuously, gasping for air.

"What happened." He asked after getting his breath under control.
