"I'm looking for someone who wouldn't mind dying," was the best that I could come up with.
The good news was that Bane didn't take it nearly as badly as I thought he would have. Instead of yelling at me to be a bit more sensitive to the prisoners around me, he burst out laughing.
"And the traitor behind you won't do?" he asked, looking over his shoulder at me and Travis before he opened the door to his cell and stepped inside.
"Would if I could," growled Travis, wrapping his arm around me as I came to a stop on the other side of the bars. "But I can't."
"Shame. I wouldn't mind seeing you die," mused Bane as he reached his arms through the bars and rested his forearms on the cold metal.
