What would you do if you were turned into a vampire? What would you do if you were a devout, if unorthodox, follower of a goddess and got turned into a vampire? Obviously, you'd join an organisation that would kill you in a second if they knew what you were, in the hopes you could get revenge on the one who was responsible for you becoming a vampire, while also saving others from a fate worse than death... right? - A slight side note, despite being a vampire, current day Felix, is 18 and looks 18. I really hate the "young-looking character is actually thousands of years old" trope, so all characters in this setting age to around 21 before non-aging kicks in, even the undead ones. - Another quick side note, I do have this listed as a super short story. That is largely because I don't know how long it is going to be yet. The possibility of it being expanded does exist, and I do have ideas for where it could go, but I am not yet planning to do so. This story was inspired by the WPC #230 Disguise prompt, and I'm mainly doing it because I wanted to try doing a prompt, so my planning for it is a bit (very) rushed. Also, I've not written anything before. So this is very much just me going into it with the attitude of "I want to learn from this, and to learn the most important thing is to just write". It is on pause currently, but I do have plans to return to writing it, my apologies.

Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system.
