The tents fluttered in the wind as the soldiers put down the spiked wooden fences found in the nearby forest. Even the ones with tight bandages moved to secure the area. Only the Argenti soldiers had horses to take care of; they put up a large joint tent to cover them from the cold. They lit small fires around the camp just for the visuals. The empire's soldiers won against the vatakku, but they were still required to retreat for regrouping, and they had to send many of the soldiers back home. Rosa sat outside the large brown tent set up for the Emperor. She was guarding another soldier called Unq. He is a soldier from the Vai, and the prince lends the Argenti princes his bodyguard for the battle. Rosa took a deep breath, sighing. It was a good thing Prince Peter saw both her and Larose in the stables; she would not have managed to make a large-scale rescue without the extra soldiers.
