Beginning of my suffering

"醒来, Lin(Wake up, Lin)" Mia-Yong the junior sister of Lin-Yong whispered into the ear of her brother tapping him as possibly as she could to wake him up

"你要什么 (what do you want?)" Lin-Yong yelled gaining the attention of his mother who was cooking opposite the exit door of the house with their locally made stove

"Shhh, do you want to gain the attention of those deadly creatures, keep your voice down." His mother warned with her soft and low tender voice

"好的 (okay)," Lin mumbled while getting up from the wide wooden bed himself, his sister and parents slept on "where is papa?." Lin questioned yawning and stretching like an old dog

"He went out to find foodstuffs for cooking." Mia replied giggling

"okay, I think I'll go find him." Lin responded wearing his filed slipper and bending his neck sideways trying to crack them like he was going to hunting

"I'll go with you," Mia said still smiling like a dying antelope "And by the way take your gun."

"这么聪明的女孩 (such smart girl)." Lin praised while patting her on the back, he walked toward the left opposite side of the bed and opened a wooden old wide box which held two small pistol guns and a container with tons of bullets. He picked the two guns and loaded them with enough bullets, he placed one of the gun on his gun holder and gave the other one to Mia

"This is the only era I have seen an eleven years old girl handling a gun." Mother chuckled staring at her children and admiring them

"Wow, we will be going now" Lin smiled to his mother who had already given them a tight hug and immediately let them free

"Remember to come home before dusk." Mother shouted to her children who were already in the street waving them goodbye.

Lin and Mia stopped near a huge but dirty supermarket where their father always picked the stuffs, they both stepped into the building casually revealing the SUV light which covered every single part of the interior and they wandered around all the sections of it

"爸爸在哪里 (where is dad)." Mia asked Lin chewing a bar of chocolate from the total seven which she had picked up from the sweets section of the supermarket

"I really do not know, but he is somewhere around," Lin answered braking a bar from the chocolate and he began to chew lightly, he stared at Mia who kept her body close to him with a great expression of fear on her face "don't be scared Mia, the SUV light is a protection against zombies"

Mia didn't reply him nor turn her head towards him but she just got herself relaxed and moved freely without any fear. Lin got really impressed staring at her as she got busy chewing her bar of chocolate

MIA P.O.V

I began to roam around the supermarket after listening to the information Lin just gave to me, I was pleased with what I heard so my fear died but not for too long when my eyes caught the attention of a section of the supermarket which was dark having no light on it

"brother Lin, why is that section dark." I informed pointing out to the direction, he stared at the section suspiciously and grabbed my hands holding it tightly

"I think we should leave, father is not here." Lin suggested walking hastily toward the exit door of the market still holding my hand

"Lin, 那是谁 (who is that)." I panicked breathing heavily seeing a muscular man who stood right under the bright UV light snarling harshly while staring at us with visible bloodlust eyes

"calm down Mia, I think it dad." Lin whispered trying to calm me down but I was too scared and didn't believe it was dad "hello father." Lin greeted father who immediately turned wild hearing his words, he ran powerfully to Lin and jumped on him attempting to bit him, father who had now transformed into on of those undead creatures snarled and grunted trying to make a feast out of my brother. Tears ran out of my eyes seeing my lovely father turned into a beast and even trying to attack my brother, his own son, I quickly cleaned the tears on my face and cocked my gun, within seconds I pulled the trigger of my gun directly on the back head of my zombie father. After pulling the trigger, Lin began to breath heavily staring at dad and my gun, we immediately began to cry at that same minute feeling the pain of just losing our father to a zombie attack.

Lin wiped his tears with his hands and also cleaned mine

"you did the right thing Mia," Lin encouraged me wiping away my tears, I immediately stood up with all my courage and held my gun tightly "we have to go Mia, it will be dusk soon." Lin said and held my hands.
