Chapter 11: Cutting Classes

Charmel tugged on Chika's arm, looking at her with a pleading expression.

"Chika, I'm hungry," she said, making pouty lips.

Chika looked at her, amused "Again?" she asked, teasingly.

Charmel whined playfully.

"Yes, again," she said. "Can we go to cafeteria? Please?" Chika chuckled, playing along "Alright, alright," she said.

"Yey" Charmel cheered and hugged Chika, feeling excited to get food "Let's go, let's go!" she said, bouncing on her toes.

Chika laughed and grabbed her arm "Hold on, hold on," she said, leading her towards the cafeteria.

Charmel and Chika sat down at a table and started eating their food, chatting and laughing together.

"This is great," Charmel said, taking a big bite of her food. "I was starving."

Chika grinned "You eat like a pig," she teased, poking Charmel playfully.

Charmel laughed, feeling happy "Hey, I'm a growing girl," she said, making a face.

"by the way Leo and Kai where are they?" Chika said

Charmel looked around, noticing that Kai and Leo were missing "I don't know," she said, looking a little confused. "Maybe they're still in class?"

Chika nodded in agreement "Yeah, maybe," she said, taking another bite of her food.

Charmel sipped her drink and continued eating "here we are eating while we have classes" she rise up with pointing hands proudly said "This is called CUTTING CLASSES"

Chika looked at Charmel, laughing at her exaggerated gesture "You're so dramatic," she said, teasing her.

Charmel grinned and stuck out her tongue at her "And you love it," she said. "It's part of my charm."

At that moment, Kai and Leo walked into the cafeteria, looking a little tired "Hey, what's up?" Kai asked, taking a seat next to Chika.

Chika looked at him, raising an eyebrow "Where have you been?" she asked.

"Obviously," Kai said, rolling his eyes. "We were just in class, where else would we be?"

Chika chuckled "Fine, we get it," she said. "No need to get salty."

"I didn't know the idiot such a good student HAHAHA" Charmel said

Kai glared at Charmel "I'm not an idiot !" he grumbled.

"Sure, sure," Charmel said, trying to get under his skin. "Keep telling yourself that."

Leo chuckled, entertained by the banter "You two always like this?" he asked, looking at Chika.

Chika nodded with a laugh "They're always bickering," she said. "It's like watching a sitcom."

Leo grinned "It's definitely entertaining," he said. "just don't mind them" Chika said

Chika turned to Kai and Charmel.

"Okay, you two, play nice," she said with an amused smile.

Kai huffed and turned away, and Charmel stuck out her tongue at him.

"We'll behave," Charmel said, faking sweetness. "Right, Kai?"

Kai looked back at her, his expression still annoyed "Right," he muttered, sounding unconvincing.

Chika rolled her eyes, clearly amused by their dynamic "I feel like I'm babysitting two children," she said, shaking her head but smiling fondly.
