Bad Luck [II]

The Next Day,

[3:30 P.M]

Entrance Gate,

Bureau of Exorcism HQ.

Xavier was seen conversing with four teenage youths. The group of teenager were obviously Jeremy and his squad mates.

"I know you might be scared about going out today.." Xavier said, shaking his head in disappointment.

"No, we aren't!" Yongje stoically replied.

"Don't worry about anything!" Xavier said not minding Yongje's reply.

"We weren't worrying!" Jason replied, glaring at Xavier.

"I'll protect you!" Xavier brightly exclaimed.

"Don't you have a date today?" Jeremy inquired, confusedly staring at Xavier.

Hearing this, Xavier couldn't help himself as he suddenly erupted in anger, "Would you guys shut up and let me finish my speech!".

"We didn't ask for your dumb speech!" Yongje said in his usual manner.

"I thought you were done with your speech" Jason commented, staring furiously at Xavier.

"What's a speech?" Jeremy confusedly inquired.

"First of all, my speech isn't dumb and secondly I wasn't done!" Xavier angrily responded, rolling his eyes.

"Ugh—ugh" Yongje complained, infuriating an already annoyed Xavier.

"Fine… wait here for your Driver!" Xavier angrily exclaimed, stomping away.

Immediately he left and another middle aged man entered the scene. Judging by his attire, one could easily deduce that he was an Exorcist.

"Hey Mr. Tom!" Jason said waving casually at the man who just entered the scene.

"Hey Jason, what goes on?" The Man inquired, slowly walking towards the squad of teens while giggling a key.

"Who's that?" Jeremy inquired staring earnestly at the incoming middleman.

"That's our driver Mr. Thomas!" Jason replied.

"That's right. I'm Thomas André or you can call me Tom" The Driver responded, extending his right hand for a handshake.

"I'm Jeremy!" Jeremy promptly said, reciprocating the handshake.

"So, you're going to be our driver?' He asked.

"Yes" Thomas immediately replied.

"Aren't you an Exorcist?" Jeremy curiously inquired, staring at Thomas.

"Yes I am. I'm actually a High Level Tier Four!" Thomas answered.

"Then why are you a driver?" Jeremy promptly inquired, solemnly staring at Thomas.

"I'm not just here to be your driver, I'm also here your guide. All Tier One Exorcist are always accompanied by Higher Tier Exorcist" Thomas immediately explained, giggling his car keys.

"Executive Xavier is usually our guide but when he's extremely busy, Mr. Tom fills in for him" Jason politely interrupted.

"Alright, I think I understand" Jeremy brightly replied, caressing his spiky brown hair.

"Good, let's get going" Yongje said, walking towards a black colored Camry styled car.

"If they're no further questions, let's get our butts into the car" Thomas said, pointing at his car.

Immediately, the five of them casually walked towards the Car with Jeremy and Stella falling behind. Jeremy soon noticed Stella weird and gloomy expression as nervously walked towards the car.

"What's wrong?" He worriedly inquired, earnestly staring at Stella for answers.

"Nnn….. Nothing!" She stuttered trying not to make eye contact.

"Are you scared we might run into those things that killed Taejin?" He further inquired, shocking Stella.

"H…. How did you… find out?" She nervously asked, staring dearly at Jeremy.

"It's clearly obvious!" He promptly answered.

"Oh!" She replied, obviously feeling embarrassed.

"Who isn't?" He immediately inquired as his hands began to fidget unwillingly.

"I'm scared…. But I don't why!" He added as his bright smile turned upside-down.

"I lost something or someone but I can't remember what it was or who is was!" He said feeling completely confused.

"But the only thing I can remember is that, there's no need to be afraid… everything will be alright!" He brightly exclaimed, wearing a warm smile.

Seeing Jeremy's reassuring smile, Stella's gloomy expression slowly faded away, giving her a sense of bravery.

"Thank you!" She commented, wearing a cheery smile.

"You're welcome!" He answered, earnestly staring at Stella

"Hey Lovebirds, would you quit the honeymoon and get over here!" Thomas exclaimed, grabbing Jeremy and Stella's attention.

Hearing the word Lovebirds and honeymoon, Stella's face immediately turned red as she tried to adjust her glasses.

"Y…..Yes Sir!" Stella stuttered walking towards the car.

"Oooooo!" Jason commented wryly.

"Would you shut up?" Yongje rudely inquired, glaring at his mate, who was already in the car.

"Adam is gonna kill him!" Yongje said in his usual stoic attitude.

"What's a honeymoon?" Jeremy confusedly inquired.

"Is it when you put honey on the moon?" He added, causing the other males to smack their heads in disappointment.

"Let's just get going!" Yongje complained, rolling his eyes in annoyance

"Okay!" Thomas replied, igniting the car.

Meanwhile,

Xavier's Residence,

New Chrisland City.

The handsome devil called Xavier suddenly appeared in the middle of his Living room, taking a seat instantly. Judging by his facial expression, he was still annoyed by the fiasco that occurred earlier.

"Those scrawny little kids… They are even worse than Adam!" Xavier mumbled to himself.

"How are they worse than me!" Adam's voice suddenly boomed into the room but for some reason, Xavier wasn't shocked.

"Why are you here?" Xavier inquired, staring at the couch in front of him.

Due to the ill lighting, the entire room appeared dark and shadowy. Slowly, Adam emerged from a shadow which was directly in front of Xavier.

"Just came to check up on you!" Adam replied, taking a seat even if he wasn't invited.

"I also wanted to be sure you didn't forget your date with Ms. Elena!" Adam promptly added, glaring wickedly at Xavier.

"The jokes on you, I didn't forget… In fact I'm supposed to go pick her up by Three Fifty!" Xavier boasted, wearing a proud smirk.

"It's Three Forty-five" Adam responded immediately.

"That's not true… It's Three Forty-five!" Xavier said, glancing at his Smart watch.

"Three Forty-five!" Xavier worriedly exclaimed.

"Yeah genius" Adam replied, rolling his eyes.

"Damnit, I'm going to be fvckin late!" Xavier exclaimed, leaping out of his seat.

"You're hopeless" Adam commented, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"Buh at least you're dressed!" Adam added, noticing Xavier's attire.

"Yeah…. How do I look?" Xavier inquired.

He donned a white long sleeved shirt with a black neck tie, a black slim fitted trouser alongside an ankle length black sneaker.

"I dunno man, just get going!" Adam complained, smacking his face.

"Alright…. Er.. What about the Limo?" Xavier curiously inquired.

"I'll drive it just get going, before she change her mind!" Adam complained, prompting Xavier's exit.

"Thanks, you're a life saver" Xavier cheerfully appreciated, tossing this Limo key to Adam.

"That's right. Without me you'll be a wreck!" Adam boasted staring at Xavier.

"Yeah whatever you say!" Xavier replied, instantly vanishing.

Meanwhile,

Entrance Gate,

Bureau of Exorcism HQ.

A dazzling young woman was seen walking towards the gates, continuously glancing at her fancy wrist watch. She was dressed in an a long, red, off shoulder, sleeveless gown alongside various expensive jewelry. Her hair was dazzled with all sorts of fancy items which made it look extremely luxurious and beautiful. The exquisite young lady was none other than Elena.

"Where is he?" She blurted, staring earnestly at her watch which was exactly on Three Fifty.

"I'm here!" Xavier's voice appeared right out of nowhere, surprising Elena.

"You're here!" She commented wearing a cheery smile.

"Not a moment too soon!" Xavier said, tightly embracing Elena, passionately locking lips with her.

"So… where are we going?" Elena curiously inquired, staring at Xavier.

"Saint Stephens" He proudly responded.

"Ooo.. Fancy!" She excitedly responded, wearing a bright smile.

"and Expensive!" He whispered, rubbing his head in frustration.

"I heard that!" Elena commented, glaring at her awkward fiancé.

"Nothing's too expensive for my Babe!" Xavier frightfully responded, almost choking on his words.

"Un-un, whatever you say!" Elena wryly said.

Suddenly, a white colored Limousine pulled up in front of Elena and Xavier. Immediately it pulled up, the doors automatically opened, revealing it's luxurious interior.

"Your ride!" Xavier said, pointing at his Limo.

"Thank you!" Elena replied, promptly waltzing into the car.

To her surprise, Adam was actually the driver as he angrily gripped the steering wheel, wearing a grumpy expression. Following Elena, Xavier entered the Limo, closing the door instantly.

"What a wonderful Chauffeur you have there!" Elena commented wryly, obviously trying to mock Adam.

"Yes, he's an excellent Chauffeur and the fun part, he works for free!" Xavier added, gravely infuriating Adam.

"You guess know that I can clearly hear you!" Adam angrily said, grinding his teeth's together.

"Yeah, we know!" Elena said, releasing a hearty chuckle.

"We're just mocking you!" Xavier commented

"To Saint Stephens my good man!" He added, tapping the side of his seat.

"Shit, I'm so gonna regret this!" Adam whispered, immediately driving the Limo.
