Space

Streets are bustling and people are moving back and forth. Looking at this scene of noisy classmates and frustrated teachers Ling Qin felt gloomy. Thinking that in just a month the whole world was going to end got him feeling depressed and ruined his mood.

Four months had passed since his parents got married, four months of joy and happiness as well as four months less of the little that they already had left before the world erupted into madness.

During this time Ling Qin had not been idle . He had speeded up his buying of resources and seeds. Everything that he would need during the apocalypse was bought and those that would not be needed would be dispersed such as money. Ling Qin had drained out all his money on resources not leaving a little bit. In a months time it would all be useless anyway so what was the point of keeping it and if the apocalypse did not start as planned then he couldn't say he would have lost much. He was only six years old so he could afford to lose it all since he had time to regain it. Plus all that money couldn't be said to his, most of it was earned by bidding and buying stocks based on his memory of what would occur in the future. He could be said to have profited from  living once. Unfortunately for him his knowledge of the future economic development was only until a month later since that was the last time the world still operated normally.

Now that he had finished buying everything the only thing left was moving to a safer house or if they can't then to reinforce their house. Problem was he did not know how to approach the subject. How was he supposed to tell his parents that the apocalypse was coming without being treated as if he was playing. How was he supposed to convince them that everything he said was true, convince them to move and to spend all their money on supplies. This was clearly and impossible task. Plus he was almost 100% sure his mom wouldn't believe him if he said he was reborn from the past. I mean who would ?!

"Aghh this is frustrating" Ling Qin grumbled as he pulled at his hair.

Another thing that Ling Qin found more frustrating was the fact that he knew what was the cause of the apocalypse but did not have the ability to stop it. Even his father with his high position in the military and his grandfather with his high position in the business world wouldn't be able to stop it. Heck nobody could stop this! Preparing was all one could do.

In about three weeks time the entire country along with various countries all across the globe will be placed under lockdown. Reason? Alien attack. A group of aliens later named Ganria arrived on Earth during that period of time. They were five to be exact, four small and one large. All in different locations but all headed towards one destination ,Mount Fuji Japan. At first the entire planet was on alert and under panic because these creatures were attacking cities as they moved forward. At that time all the countries in the world stood together under one banner to protect the planet from Invaders. To protect their home. Everything else was put aside. The battle lasted for a week but with it's intensity one would think it lasted for atleast a month. It was a tough battle . They managed to kill the four smaller ones but as for the biggest, the leader, they were not so lucky. And once you can't eradicate your opponent you lose. That's what happened we lost. The beast reached it's destination and once it had,the world was over! Earth lost and the apocalypse began. At first no one knew what happened. All we did know was that the sky had turned dark, the sun disappeared, communication was cut off and 70% of the population just dropped dead while the rest were plagued with high fevers and collapsed. Only to awaken two days later with the world in caose. Of the 30% some awoke with abilities and some ordinary. As for that 70%, heh they woke up too. Just not as people but as zombies.

It was only after a few years of research that we finally found out what was the cause. Turned out that Ganria blood reacted extremely violently with rare elements and Mount Fuji just happened to be one rich in it. Mount Fuji is an active volcano and a geological pressure point, a very rich volcano. According to research, on a blood to mass ratio of the blood of the Ganria, the reaction of the blood and elements caused a cascade event igniting the ring of fire around the Pacific rim. Billions of tons of toxic gas and ash spilt into the atmosphere wiping out most life. It was supposed to be all life, but I guess we we're lucky . As for the abilities those were triggered by the remaining Ganria blood in the air. Guess it saved us, probably by accident though.

"Maybe I should talk to Dad about this instead. I feel like there will be a higher chance of success there. But then again he will probably ask me to prove that what I said is true, but unfortunately unlike other rebirth stars in novels how come I don't have any golden fingers. How unfair. Everything would be so much easier if I had a space . Not only is it easier to show that what I said about the apocalypse is true since such things defy logic , it would also make storage easier. Unfortunately dreams are just dreams and it won't become reality."

Sighing to himself Ling Qin got up with the rest of his class and headed towards the PE class. Today's PE class was relatively simple, all they had to do was run 800m then they were allowed to do as they pleased. Ok it might just have been easy for him, after all he had been regularly training and improving his physic with his mom every morning. His dad had also joined in of course and had even taught them better fighting skills. Man was in the army after all .

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry are you ok." Shao Rong who had accidentally bumped into Ling Qin while running said.

"Ya it's ok" Ling Qin replied shrugging it off.

"You sure you're bleeding on your arm" Shao Rong pointed out.

"Ehh" Ling Qin looked down at his arm only to see that he was bleeding. Seemed like he had been scratched when he bumped into the wall after bumping into Shao Rong. He honestly didn't feel it.

"Should I accompany you to the nurse?"

"No it's ok I can manage" Ling Qin said wiping the little wound with his finger." It's not a big wound anyway, it just needs a bandage ."

"Oh ok.." Shao Rong said looking at the back of his classmate as it moved further away.

Ling Qin arrived at the school infirmary in just a few minutes, luckily for him the nurse was also there .

"Hi how can I help you?" she smiled as she greeted him.

"Hi Miss can I have a bandage please. My arm is bleeding." Ling Qin said as he gestured to his bleeding arm.

"You want me to check that for you?" Nurse Avery asked.

"No thanks it's just a minor scratch."

"Ok then here are some bandages and disinfect for you to use. There is a tap over there for you to use to clean up. Bloods gone all over your arm . That bracelet of yours as well might need to be cleaned up. Looks expensive I'm sure you wouldn't want to ruin it right." Nurse Avery said to Ling Qin.

:-!🤯 Only then did Ling Qin realize that his blood was all over his Jade bracelet his grandma gave him. The boy quickly ran towards the tap to wash the blood off his bracelet. He only relax once he was sure that all the blood was washed off.

"Haha cute" nurse Avery said I've got to head up to the teachers building close up for me when your done ok.

"Mhm" Ling Qin nodded his head. After watching her walk out Ling Qin walked torwards the desk we're the things he needed were placed.

He quickly cleaned up the wound, disinfected it than finally put on

Once he was done Ling Qin began cleaning up wanting to leave soon. His next class would be starting soon. While packing Lin Qin's hand accidentally knocked over a bottle causing it's contents to spill out and it's lid to fall off.

"Darn it!" Ling Qin quickly picked up the bottle before he began wiping up his mess. Once done he went down on his knees to try and reach for the bottle cap that had fallen under one of the cabinets. After trying for two minutes and not succeeding Ling Qin began to grow frustrated.

"Aghh why is there so little space here!"

Ling Qin groaned completely annoyed

Right after he had said that Ling Qin felt a sharp pain in his head and then his surroundings begin to blur. After a few seconds everything went back to normal except that he was no longer in infirmary.

"Where am I?" Ling Qin looked around him.

Looking around all there was in front of him was a small lake, a few mu of cultivated land , a small house and mist covering in all directions.

"Wait a minute mist, lake , small house, land and I came in here after saying space . Oh! My! gosh! Space ! It's a space! I have a space!" Lin Qin shouted as he jumped around in circles before he ran around from corner to corner to see what was there. "Hahaha I have a golden fingers too! Hmmf who said I was unlucky!? I'm clearly the luckiest.

With this everything will be easier."

"Wait a minute" Ling Qin braked as he stopped. "When did I receive a space . I've clearly said the word space so many times and nothing happened . How did I suddenly have one now? "

While thinking his gaze drifted to the Jade bangle on his wrist. Looking at it the bangle that used to be green had clearly turned blood red. "Wait don't tell me it was the bangle. But why now??"

"Oh! Blood. I got blood all over it earlier. It must have absorbed it and then opened the space like in those novels. Aggg why didn't I think of that earlier!! Darn when did I become so stupid  The Jade was clearly an old one. Aren't  all space bracelets family heirlooms or something? Why didn't I think of that?" He groaned while banging his head on his hands.

"But it doesn't matter ! The apocalypse hasn't started so I still have time. Later I'm gonna go collect my materials from that warehouse and then I'll go talk to Dad. With this he should believe me."

Right let's see if this works like in the books " I want to go out." Immediatly after he felt his consciousness being dragged again before it was brought back in his body.

"Aghh !Wow have to get used to that." Ling Qin groaned while he opened his eyes. Seeing that he was back in the infamery he was relived. Let me just make sure that it was not a dream. He said to himself before he lifted up a bottle and commanded it to enter the space in his mind. Right after he saw the bottle disappear.

Ling Qin grinned wildly.

Triii!!!

"Oh right class!" he remembered before he took the bottle back out and ran towards his next class. Of course after closing up the little school clinic.

I'll deal with that after he thought as he ran towards class. Luckily making it back on time.

Haha seems today is my lucky day Ling Qin smiled as he took his seat. Opening his books when he saw his teacher coming in.

"Rare Earth elements. Mount Fuji is a volcano rich in rare Earth elements. Kiju blood reacts extremely violently with rare elements. Mount Fuji is active, a geological pressure point. Based on blood to mass ratio of the kiju the reaction would cause a Cascade event igniting the ring of fire around the Pacific rim . Billions of tons of toxic gas and Ash will spill into the atmosphere wiping out all life"

For the cause of the apocalypse I got my idea from a few lines in the movie 'Pacific Rim' . Just wanted to make it clear that these few lines above in bold are not my original idea.
