Chapter 14: The Magnetic Devil
"Unfeeling haze ….." Blade corrected himself instinctively "If this is about the discoveries I made, I don't think I'm fit to be your young master" Blade said before feeling as if the name 'Unfeeling haze' was a little familiar.
"Jane!" Unfeeling haze called out instantly and there was a stir in the dark corner. It suddenly looked as if darkness billowed out from that spot and disappeared.
Before Blade could blink, all he saw was a dark shadow that flashed and stood behind the man named Unfeeling haze.
A true mid tier superhuman!!!
Blade was shocked! He never knew that he would one day see a mid tier superhuman in action and one so close to him at that.
Although, he was not really sure if the person was still in the middle class of Superhumans but at least that class was leagues above his current level. Even the pressure emanating from her was enough to make his heart tremble.
"Hey! Look I was just joking…. Ha…Ha….Ha" Blade laughed drily as he fell back to his seat.
"I could be your young master who knows?" Blade hastily tried to control the situation that was deteriorating already. His instinct was flooded with danger alarms when the shadow in the corner showed up. His instinct was telling him that, if the shadow tried to make a move on him, he wouldn't be able to escape.
"I meant I would love to be your young master" he corrected instantly then felt like slapping himself at the same time.
"I am your young master you knoww… it wouldn't be nice if you….." his words got stuck in his throat as he saw the black shadow appearing in front of him.
His pupils dilated in alarm, too fast! Just too fast! He couldn't even trace the movement not even a glimpse of her shaking.
"What are you doing? Aren't I your young master any longer?" Blade asked desperately. He knew that right now, he was fish on the chopping block. If she wanted to kill him, there was nothing he could do.
This feeling of despair once more, it was just like his time with the upgraded Grade 2 Black Mamba. Power, strength, independence! He need a this thing desperately.
This was his wish. He was tired of been tossed and flung around any time the powerful ones step in. He also wants to be powerful.
Unfortunately, reality was different from dreams. Even at that, what was going on? Wasn't he their recently acknowledged young master?
No wait a minute!
Who even attacks their young master? What kind of mess was this? This was too illogical.
It was just as if someone told you that Coconut now grows on Mango trees and they have switched positions. You are like...What the hell are you saying? But the other person's fist is bigger so you just have to accept fate.
Or could these people be one of those superhumans from the Dark side? Those that extract other superhuman's blood essence for their own improvement? He even shuddered at the thought of this act.
Thinking of this, he put more effort into his struggle to escape when he heard an eerie voice.
"Go to sleep first" Unfeeling haze 's voice echoed and that was the last thing Blade heard before he felt as if his whole body became numb and electrocuted, immediately after, he felt like he was back in his mother's womb and soon, Blade was sleeping as sound as a baby.
"Get him out of here" Unfeeling haze ordered in a totally different voice from his previous Uncle Tules act.
"Yes sir" Jane answered and once again flashed and disappeared like a ghost.
Unfeeling haze looked around and at the assistant on the floor.
He walked close to her and tapped her head twice to make sure her memory of that period became jumbled then he removed the dart from her neck, cleaned the drop of blood, lay her on the couch and nodded in satisfaction. Then he walked out of the room.

Blade woke up to an unfamiliar place. With a groggy mind and bleary eyes, it took some time for him to adjust himself to his current situation.
After a while, he got up with a start and with that hit his head hard on something that felt really dense.
Upon looking up, he saw that he hit his head on a tree branch that was hanging very low over his head. This was what prevented the sun from reaching him. As he looked around, he discovered he was in what looked like a private garden. Apart from the Absence of birds and animals everything looked picturesque and serene.
Blade put his palm at the back of his head and felt the new rising bump on it.
"Sh*t" he cursed, what was he thinking? Of course! The mysterious Mr Tules that became Unfeeling haze ….. and yes! Jane the dark flitting shadow.
As he warily looked around, he soon calmed down, because his current state showed the confidence of the people he was dealing with.
He woke up with nothing binding him, and only the little pain from the bump on his head.
It seemed he had heardof this Unfeeling haze before…..but before he could think about it again,
Rumble! Rumble‼
Rumbling sounds started and Blade looked down at his stomach.
'Didn't I just have a dessert and cocktail?' he wondered.
So he brought up his left hand and checked the time on the anti-magnetic watch that looked more like a compass on his wrist.
OMG!
Could anyone tell him why it was already the second day and it was already 13:56pm!
"Damn it! I was out for so long" Blade half exclaimed and complained.
As he was pacing about, he started thinking about the reason for his abduction, a door in the garden opened and in came Mr Unfeeling haze in a vacation designed top and a casual short.
He looked more like the typical neighbour next door from the pre-magnetic era.
As Blade assessed him, he was in turn assessing Blade.
Vacation like 'Unfeeling haze ' picked a relatively short but easy route through the garden to Blade.
It was now that Blade remembered where he heard that name. His pupils shrank as he couldn't have imagined that the famous and most deadly criminal wanted throughout the entire world by the Seven Apex Alliance was the one in a vacation top and beach shorts.
Magnetic devil, Unfeeling haze!
The legendary most wanted criminal was actually his abductor!
