Another Tale: Osborn

The word or concept of transmigration is somewhat common to some and completely unknown to others. For some people it could be an opportunity they would not pass up. One not so common person has that opportunity and ended up in a completely unknown Marvel universe, however, when he woke up, he was not in the body of one of the heroes he knew or even a random person. He transmigrated into the body of one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Norman Osborn the Green Goblin. Will he become a hero who fights for good or will he be a villain who seeks to conquer everything in his path, or will he walk in a fine line between the two, not a villain but no a hero either? His story in Marvel is just about to begin. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read. I warn from the beginning so that there is no misunderstanding with that fact.

"I don't think it's a very good idea for me to be here" Norman heard Mary Jane's recognizable voice in his ears.

The Osborn opened his eyes and just looked at the young woman who was sitting 2 meters away from him, this time she was simply wearing a black sleeveless shirt for her top part of her body and a simple white dress pants were covering her bottom part, in every way it was a simple outfit that gave her a sense of casual beauty.

"Miss Watson, I think it's too late to think about that" Norman commented quietly.

The young redhead just looked at her boss: "It's just that this was supposed to be a family trip and now with me here the things could be a bit awkward" she expressed her concern quickly.

He was currently on his way to Sea World in Orlando, the reason for this trip was because Norman had to fulfill the promise he made to Harry, he didn't really believe that the little boy would choose that place, his deduction was Disneyland, but he was wrong.

What he did not expect Harry to do was to ask Mary Jane to accompany them on their trip, but considering that he was probably thinking of her as a sister or even in a maternal way, it was easy to understand that request.

At first the redhead refused gently, alluding to the same argument just said, however unexpectedly for the two adults Harry began to cry at the rejection so in the end in a quick attempt to content him Mary Jane ended up accepting.

And so the father and son trip ended up being a trip of three people, four because Harry also ended up inviting Bernard, luckily there was no one else, Norman had thought that his son could invite more people.

Bernard and Harry were in the cabin of the pilot, since the little boy was curious to see it and being an airplane of his property he could fulfill that desire.

"Harry invited you, Miss Watson, in fact I should thank you for accepting my son's selfish request" the Osborn began to say sincerely.

"No, there is no need to thank me or anything like that" she mentioned nervously and quickly, no matter how much time she spent with Norman, she could not get used to the cordial and kind treatment he gave her.

"So there is no need to say or discuss, let's just enjoy the day once we reach to our destination" mentioned with a smile the Osborn and the redhead just let out a sigh before nodding her head slightly.

Seeing that MJ remained silent and a little lost in thought he closed his eyes once again, meditation always calmed him in a good way.

Seeing that her boss closed his eyes to rest a little Mary Jane looked at him in a discreet way while she gave a silent sigh.

The first thing her vision looked at was the color of the Osborn's hair, unlike Harry who had brown hair Norman had black hair that reminded the redhead of the color of the night. Despite having his eyes closed Mary Jane could clearly remember the green eyes he had, a hue that reminded her too much of nature unlike her own.

The next thing she looked at was his clothing throughout the time she has spent with him, she had never seen him in casual clothes, so she simply thought he was a person who didn't like that type of clothing, however for this outing he was wearing a long sleeved all black shirt with gray dress pants.

His simple outfit despite not being too dressy made him look good, and it was clear that he was definitely taking care of his body, as his silhouette was similar to what she has seen in the professional swimmers that are shown on television.

Besides being a little older than her, she could really see why most of the girls at the university seemed to like him, by god even her best friend had him as her idol, although it was because of the achievements he has in the academic field.

She didn't even want to know what would happen if it was found out that she worked for him, of course she was just a babysitter, but she really didn't think it would be an easy thing to deal with.

She never thought she would end up working for someone like him, much less being her son's nanny, but her mother was trying too hard to be able to pay for her college and the expenses of college, plus all the other things that needed money, and she just wanted to be able to relieve some of her mother's burden.

Besides, she already had experience in taking care of children, she had already taken care of her neighbor many times, so she should be able to do a babysitting job, what she never expected was that her first job would be to take care of Norman Osborn's son, however the pay was too good not to accept it.

Luckily for she the little boy in her care was very calm and cordial, a bit too much for someone his age, the only time he showed a bit of joy was when he mentioned something about his father, but because he was in a coma he decided not to mention that subject too much.

Many times she heard from the other workers that the older Osborn was undoubtedly a very scary person and that he rarely paid attention to his own son.

However, she never fully believed those rumors, if that was the case then the little boy's attitude should be very different, right? So regardless of that fact she did not form a negative opinion of Norman, as it would be pointless to do so, only once she had the opportunity to talk to the person in person would she know if the rumors were unfounded or not.

And with the little time she had spent with Norman she had come to realize that all or at least most of the rumors about him were completely unfounded, while he didn't seem to know exactly how to be a good father he was trying his best and that was something that she would respect from the bottom of her heart.

The Osborn was kind, cordial, as well as being a good chat partner, that was the conclusion she came to, she was really happy to be able to work for such a good boss.

Norman didn't understand how his son had so much energy, since they had arrived at the park he had practically dragged him and Mary Jane to every attraction he could get into.

Of course the dolphin and killer whale shows were also included in their walk through the park, and they practically spent the whole day going from attraction to attraction and show to show, except for the attractions that Harry could not go on due to the restrictions, they had gone on each and every one of them.

Which translated into having to wait for clothes to dry or change into other clothes, plus Bernard should easily have taken about 100 pictures and practically had a grandfather smile on his face the whole trip.

Currently, the small group of four were in one of the restaurants in the park, Bernard had taken Harry to the bathroom while Norman and Mary Jane ordered dinner.

"The kid really have energy" commented the Osborn, the food would take a while to arrive and so would Bernard and Harry so at least they could chat a bit.

"But it was worth it, wasn't it? Harry had a permanent smile on his face all day long" the girl with red hair replied with a smile.

Norman only remembered that fact: "Yes, it was worth it" he was sincere which made Mary Jane's smile grow a little more: "You are a good father" she mentioned unconsciously.

He was a bit surprised by this compliment: "I try to be"- but he still decided to answer: "Before the accident that caused me to fall into a coma, I wasn't, in fact I didn't even try to be one" he mentioned with a bit of despise to the attitude that old Norman had, but to Mary Jane's ears and eyes it seemed as if he was despising himself.

"But now I intend to be, I was given a chance to live, and I intend to live it differently from my old life" he said without needing to lie, it was true that this was a new chance to live for himself, but it was also a chance for Harry to have a real father.

Mary Jane just kept silent for a moment, with Norman's confirmation then it seemed that the rumors were not completely unfounded, however she would not change her mind because of that, although before he might not be a good father, now he was completely different.

"People make mistakes otherwise they wouldn't be people, but the difference is in what they do afterwards, you Mr. Osborn might not have been a good father in the past" the redhead just thought how she was going to exceed her limits again, but she felt it was something she had to say: "But now you are making an effort to be one that is more than many men could do, besides little Harry clearly loves you, so things can be repaired, you just have to make an effort at it, I believe in you" she finished saying.

A small silence appeared at the table where the two people were sitting, Mary Jane just looked at Norman waiting for his reaction: "Thank you" mentioned the Osborn with a soft smile.

In that way the distance between the two people seemed to become a little closer, after a while Bernard and Harry arrived just in time when the food was delivered and without any delay the four people began to dine between laughs and conversations.

Currently, they were flying back to New York, the trip had been a good way to develop a little more his relationship with Harold, and it had seemed to have worked, plus he had also become a little closer to Mary Jane, so it could be said that without a doubt that the mission had been a success.

He was currently in the plane's bedroom, after a full day of action Harry was tired, since they left the park it was as if his energy was starting to run out, so Norman had to take it into his arms until they arrived at the plane.

After that he had to wait a bit before Harry started to fall asleep due to his request, now that he had fallen asleep the Osborn took the blanket and placed it in such a way that it covered the little boy, before leaving he took a few more blankets in case he would need them, after that he left the room.

The first thing he noticed was the absence of Bernard, the second thing he looked at was the silhouette of Mary Jane in one of the seats, it seemed that she had fallen asleep.

Her eyes were a little furrowed, and he could see her shoulders were shaking a little, the most obvious deduction was that she was feeling cold, so Norman quickly approached her and put one of the blankets he had taken out of the room on her.

He soon saw how the beautiful redhead cuddled a little with the blanket, and it made him chuckle a little when he saw the cute action she did.

He felt a presence at his back, so he turned and looked at Bernard who had come out of the pilot's cabin, his butler quickly walked over to the mini bar that was in the plane.

He took out two crystal glasses and poured himself from one of the bottles, Norman just walked over to him and took one of the glasses: "Sir, you have really changed" he heard him say.

"And that's good?" asked the Osborn.

"Of course it's good," Bernard said in a louder tone, but not enough to wake Mary Jane.

"For my change" declared Norman before taking a drink soon followed by Bernard.
