Another Tale: Osborn

The word or concept of transmigration is somewhat common to some and completely unknown to others. For some people it could be an opportunity they would not pass up. One not so common person has that opportunity and ended up in a completely unknown Marvel universe, however, when he woke up, he was not in the body of one of the heroes he knew or even a random person. He transmigrated into the body of one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Norman Osborn the Green Goblin. Will he become a hero who fights for good or will he be a villain who seeks to conquer everything in his path, or will he walk in a fine line between the two, not a villain but no a hero either? His story in Marvel is just about to begin. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read. I warn from the beginning so that there is no misunderstanding with that fact.

Norman was at a remote part of the Osborn Manor property, in the morning he had received a call from Dr. Connors about not being able to assist to the Corporation, so he ended up taking the day off, his secretary would inform him immediately if there was something in which he needed to be present.

Of course, he informed Gwen about that fact so that she wouldn't show up for work and could have some time off, the Stacy took it well and Norman had to answer a few questions that the blonde asked him based on the thesis that old Norman had done at the university.

After that he took a shower and had breakfast with Harry before going out to walk around the territory of the mansion, until he found the place he was satisfied with. It didn't take him so long time before he finally found it, it was a slightly remote and hidden place, so it was certainly the best option he had at least for the moment.

Currently, he was meditating a little, since his training with Ducard he had tried to access the powers that Lux gave him, however no matter how hard he tried he could never do it.

First of all Val Armorr's knowledge was something he didn't quite understand, Lux mentioned about having a certain physical level before it could be unlocked, and he was sure that currently he had a relatively high level in that aspect.

He was possibly at the peak of what a normal human could possibly develop, and yet he hadn't made any kind of progression.

So that meant that it might actually be somewhat more difficult to unlock that knowledge, also the main reason for him being so interested in the Connors Formula, since if he could possibly somehow have all of The Lizard's powers transferred to him, but without the transformation it was very probable that he could unlock the knowledge in that way.

As for the OZ Formula he didn't even think about it, the research had just barely begun and there was no kind of sign that would show that it would be a positive thing or at least safe to use on humans.

Plus he was Norman Osborn, so he was a bit reluctant to use the formula on him, in most cases it is the main reason for Norman's transformation to the Green Goblin, and he was not excited to find out what would happen if he used it now that he took Norman's body.

So the simplest conclusion he came up with was to give up for the moment on trying to unlock Val Armorr's knowledge, after all the abilities and power he would get from that would be of no use if he ended up becoming the Green Goblin and lost all trace of his sanity.

Although he didn't consider himself a hero he was definitely not a villain who killed left and right, he was just trying to survive in the presence of things that could happen in a world like Marvel, if anyone dared to be an obstacle to that fact he wouldn't hesitate to kill them without blinking his eyes.

Putting that out of his mind, the Osborn focused on his second wish and in Lux's words it was the easiest to unlock, and she was probably right.

Throughout the six months he had been training with Ducard, especially the times he meditated, there was always a mysterious feeling that called to him however no matter how hard he tried he could never completely locate it.

But he was sure that it was about the power to teleport, that was an answer that came to him instinctively so in his free time he tried to meditate with a clear objective in mind.

This time was no different, Norman was just sitting in a classic meditation position, his breathing was slow but constant, his eyes closed in a soft way and his body relaxed.

Suddenly the feeling appeared again in his body, it was a warm sensation and full of energy, as if he was bathing in the rays of the sun, it was somehow a feeling that gave him a kind of security and sense of belonging. And he simply let himself be carried away by it.

Norman didn't know how long he was in that strange trance state, it was just as if he was doing a particularly long puzzle, but not difficult just long, the pieces simply started to fit together by themselves.

Once the last piece was in place the Osborn opened his eyes feeling a great satisfaction all over his body, he tried a simple teleportation at 5 meters and the result was a success however being his first time the sensation was very bad and if it had not been for his quick reaction it was possible that he would have fallen on the ground.

A huge smile was present on the Osborn's face, he had finally done it, after almost seven months of arriving in the Marvel world he had managed to unlock one of his wishes.

Probably not something to completely brag about, but for him it was a total source of joy.

But he soon calmed down in spite of his joy he had to see if his power had any limitations, as he doubted that they would instantly give him a power without limitations.

About an hour later and several experiments with his power he was able to get an idea of his ability.

First of all it seemed to have no limit to the distance to which he could teleport, he tried it up to 30 meters and each time it worked almost instantly, however something he noticed quickly was the fact that in each jump, especially in the one of 30 meters, he felt a kind of tiredness, probably each jump took a part of his energy.

It was due to this fact that he postponed trying a much longer jump, he did not know what would happen if the amount of energy for the jump was insufficient, in the best case he would simply not be able to teleport, and in the worst case he would suffer an adverse reaction.

Another immediate discovery he noticed was the fact that he could teleport with the things that had contact with his body, as in the case of his clothes, even his sword was transported with him.

Now what he would do might be a bit risky, but he would have to do it someday anyway, even if he didn't make the jump to the Oscorp Corporation, he had to test the limits of his capacity a little more.

The place he was at was about 420 meters away from Osborn Manor, so it would not doubt that would be a long jump and a good distance to try it out.

Norman mentally prepared himself for his first long-distance jump, and he imagined in his mind the place where he wanted to be, his office was what he thought first, but it would raise a bit of suspicion if none of his employees saw him.

So he decided to show up at a small cabin that the old Norman had built because Emily had always wanted one, after imagining the place he felt like he was falling and the next moment he was in the cabin.

His body quickly felt tired and even though it wasn't too much it was certainly a considerable amount, so he should be a little careful with long-distance jumps, at least while he might be able to figure out how exactly his power worked.

With that thought the Osborn started to walk out of the cabin after seeing the time on a clock that was hanging on the wooden wall, if he remembered correctly the piano lessons from Harry must have ended, so he could chat a bit with the little boy.

Just as he thought the little Osborn had finished with his piano lesson, which reminded Norman to take some of his time to watch his son play the instrument, as he seemed genuinely interested in it and according to Mary Jane he definitely had talent.

Arriving at the tutoring room the older Osborn quickly noticed two people in it, the first was his son who seemed content as he was eating a simple sandwich and the second person was the now very familiar Mary Jane.

His footsteps were heard, and he soon gained the attention of the two people in the room, it's not as if he wanted to hide his presence.

The little Harry quickly showed a smile from ear to ear: "Dad!" he exclaimed with enthusiasm and although Norman felt a little strange to be called that way he didn't show it, as it could make all the progress he has made collapse.

"Mr. Osborn" the lady with red hair mentioned by a greeting.

"Harry, you must not speak when you have food in your mouth, since it is impolite" she reprimanded the little boy gently: "Miss Watson" he answered as he changed his gaze to the redhead.

Harry showed only a little surprise at that fact, but soon nodded his head, understanding what his father wanted to tell him: -I'm sorry- he apologized.

"There is no need to apologize, you are a child, and it is normal to make mistakes, just try not to do it again" Mary Jane said before Norman could say anything, seeing the little boy's depressed attitude: "Miss Watson is right Harry" seeing that his words were stolen was the only thing that the Osborn could say.

The little boy only nodded his head while a smile adorned his face as he took his sandwich to his mouth to continue eating.

The scene Harry stared in caused the two adults to look at each other discovering that they both had soft smiles on their faces in response to the little boy's action.

The Osborn soon sat down in the only place where there was space by being on the opposite side of Mary Jane, as soon as he sat down the beautiful redhead gave a sandwich of their own to the Osborn who gladly accepted it in that way a conversation started between the three people.

If someone walked in at that moment their first thought would be about a nice and happy family of three.
