Chapter 19: Conspiracy

*Before the attack*

"Are we really just going to wait for them to call us?." Kix asked as he was bored sitting in the room nothing to do "Be quiet you Idiot." Bones replied as he was annoyed by Kix's whining while the silent girl was sleeping in the corner peacefully.

"Kix I need you and Frenda to check their past histories." Gwyn said "What do you mean?." Bones asked "Every squad has their deeds stored in their folders I want the two of you to go check them out." Gwyn said as she hands them their phones "Keep it on alright, I'll talk to you through here." She said as Bones notices Gwyn's uneasiness "You got it Leader, we'll send you anything suspicious through Bones's laptop." Kix said as they left the room.

"What is it Leader?." Bones asked "It's just that I somehow remember that guy." Gwyn replied with a nervous voice "You mean their leader? Scare? Scor was it?." Bones said as he tries to remember "Scar, I feel like I've seen him from somewhere." Gwyn replied "It's not that you somehow remember him, It's that you actually do." He said.

When Kix and Frenda arrived at the Scorching Scorpions Office.

"You two must be from the mercenaries we hired for the attack, both of you must be here for the plan." Nerd said "Yeah." Kix replied "Well I'll be off to the cafeteria for the mean time you two check out the plan you can revise it if you think it'll help us." Nerd said as he left the room.

"We're in." Kix said as he opens the Squads past deeds, Frenda immediately kicked Kix by the neck.

*THUD!!*

"What was that for!?." Kix exclaimed, Frenda then pointed out to Kix about the cctv behind them with her eyes signalling towards it.

"Umm Lead--." Kix got interrupted by Bones "Don't worry I got that covered, from what they could see it's just an empty room so go wild over there and send those files." Bones said.

"Alright." He said "Ummm let Frenda do it Kix." Bones said "Huh!?." Kix reacted "Bones is right Kix, she has more experience doing these things." Gwyn replied "Alright, Frenda you deal with this." Kix then stood up while Frenda started to work by sending the copied folders of the squads past deeds.

"Hey wait ! Frenda open that one." Kix was curious "OPERATION MASS SLAUGHTER." He red.

As Gwyn heard it on the phone her memories started to come back, she remembered her parents leaving her in a hidden room while the whole village was on fire.

"You stay there okay sweet." Gwyn's Mom said as her Father closed the hidden room.

Hours later and Gwyn opened the door and it was already daytime and the whole village was turned to ashes, she walked around the devastated village hoping to find her parents, she checked every corner, every building in the area.

Until she reached the center of town and saw piles of corpses, and the Scorching Scorpions's Flag placed on top.

"Leader." Bones said as she snapped her out of it "I-I'm sorry Bones, I got lost back there." She replied nervously and he even noticed as she clenches her right hand.

"Send every file you have of them." Bones said as he was starting to worry about their Leader's sake, Frenda nods as she copies and sends them towards Bones.

"Crap! I'll deal with them you better send them faster." Kix said as he went outside the room "That's now how this works." Frenda thoughts to herself.

As Kix got outside the guards were just making a sweep in the area "Hey you! tell your Leader you guys will be heading out after we attack their base." Guard said "Yes Sir." Kix replied.

He then went back inside "Don't worry It was just a guard patrolling." Kix said "Just stay alert it's almost sent." Bones said on the phone.

A few minutes have passed and they managed to send all of the Scorching Scorpions deeds to Bones's laptop.

"Alright let's go Fren-." He then sees the plan for the attack, Frenda then grabs the phone "Leader it looks like they'll be leaving us when we start our attack." Frenda said as Kix was shock to hear Frenda's voice for the first time "Hmm I see, change of plans the two of you come back here." Gwyn said as she ends the call.

"You... You can actually talk?." Kix said in a shocking tone while Frenda nods her head and went outside.

"Hey you told them to have a look at the plan right? what if they open the file of our actual plan?." Member said "Don't worry they're not gifted enough to break through my codes." Nerd replied as he takes a sip from his cup.

The two managed to return to the room safe and sound.

"Did you close everything?." Bones asked, Frenda then nods in agreement "Yeah, She opened the file that only we were suppose to see." Kix said "Good they'll think we know nothing, Leader? what's the plan?." Bones asked "No wait Leader we have something." Kix said on the phone "What is it?." Gwyn asked "Someone has been leaking information on the Knights, and its from one of their own." Kix replied

"Do you know who it's from?." Gwyn asked "No, there's no name here." He replied "So all we know is that there's a traitor among them Hmmm this is starting to get a little interesting." Bones said "What now Leader?." Kix asked.

"It'll depend on the Knights though." Gwyn said "You're not thinking on helping the Knights are you?." Kix asked "we'll be the trojan horse for the Shining Knights." Gwyn said.

"How are we going to do that?." Kix asked "Once we attack one of the knights will use one of Frenda's abilities to make one of them sleep." Gwyn explained as she pointed out Oliver's photo "Why him?." Bones asked "Just a feeling. anyhow's when that's done will take care of him here in the van while Bones detonates their base with explosives." Gwyn said "Now you're talking." Bones replied "When they're busy fighting the Knights, he'll detonate the base forcing them to withdraw that's when we'll make our contract with the Shining Knights and then we all attack of what's left of the Shining Knights, does anyone have any objections?." Gwyn said.

They were all silent "I see, Thank you everyone." Gwyn said as she was thankful for having wonderful teammates "What are you saying Leader, we'll follow you wherever we go." Frenda said "Same here." Kix said "You are our Leader after all." Bones said.

*Present*

"Looks like those brats did this." Poisan said "Tsk I told you we shouldn't have hired those clowns boss!." The Assassin said "Don't worry those fools won't run, as a matter of fact they'll be coming to us." Scar said as he sits on his broken chair.

"They'll be back." He said "How do you know that boss." Poisan asked "You'll know when they get here." Scar said as he was in contact with someone, a girl to be precise.
