CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE - I just waltzed out of there
"What?" I said, turning around. The leader was now frowning. "You don't just waltz out of here." He said. "Of course I do." I defended, turning around once again and lifting the edge of my dress to turn around in a grand twirl of frills and ribbons. One foot arched backward, and I grabbed it to yank off my high heels. In another twirl, I threw it at the leader's head.
With a sickening crack, it landed against his chin and his neck was snapped. Now my hands were clutching my dress, and I threw a second one. The leader rubbed his chin, which had blood on it, but he was too busy to see the second sharp-edged object flying towards him. With another crack, blood was running from his nose too. Oops. Sorry, dude. He staggered back and grabbed the armrest of his chair to steady himself.
"Theres no one else here. You didn't bring any backup, now did you?" I asked, smiling. With that, I turned around to dash gracefully down the street. Fast as a hare, and dodging all the trash on the street. with a broad smile across my face, my feet skimming over the cold cobblestones. Behind me, a few shouts erupted, but I was already gone, leaving only a few pieces of paper fluttering in the wind.
